| Yusuf Ali | (This is) the Revelation of the Book in which there is no doubt,- from the Lord of the Worlds.

| أم يقولون افتراه بل هو الحق من ربك لتنذر قوما ما أتاهم من نذير من قبلك لعلهم يهتدون
أَمْ يَقُولُونَ افْتَرَاهُ بَلْ هُوَ الْحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّكَ لِتُنذِرَ قَوْمًا مَّا أَتَاهُم مِّن نَّذِيرٍ مِّن قَبْلِكَ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَهْتَدُونَ |

| Yusuf Ali | Or do they say, "He has forged it"? Nay, it is the Truth from thy Lord, that thou mayest admonish a people to whom no warner has come before thee: in order that they may receive guidance.

| الله الذي خلق السماوات والأرض وما بينهما في ستة أيام ثم استوى على العرش ما لكم من دونه من ولي ولا شفيع أفلا تتذكرون
اللَّهُ الَّذِي خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا فِي سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍ ثُمَّ اسْتَوَى عَلَى الْعَرْشِ مَا لَكُم مِّن دُونِهِ مِن وَلِيٍّ وَلَا شَفِيعٍ أَفَلَا تَتَذَكَّرُونَ |

| Yusuf Ali | It is Allah Who has created the heavens and the earth, and all between them, in six Days, and is firmly established on the Throne (of Authority): ye have none, besides Him, to protect or intercede (for you): will ye not then receive admonition?

[32:5] | Yudabbiru al-amra mina alssama-iila al-ardi thumma yaAAruju ilayhi fee yawmin kanamiqdaruhu alfa sanatin mimma taAAuddoona
| يدبر الأمر من السماء إلى الأرض ثم يعرج إليه في يوم كان مقداره ألف سنة مما تعدون
يُدَبِّرُ الْأَمْرَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ إِلَى الْأَرْضِ ثُمَّ يَعْرُجُ إِلَيْهِ فِي يَوْمٍ كَانَ مِقْدَارُهُ أَلْفَ سَنَةٍ مِّمَّا تَعُدُّونَ |

| Yusuf Ali | He rules (all) affairs from the heavens to the earth: in the end will (all affairs) go up to Him, on a Day, the space whereof will be (as) a thousand years of your reckoning.

ذَلِكَ عَالِمُ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ الْعَزِيزُ الرَّحِيمُ |

الَّذِي أَحْسَنَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ خَلَقَهُ وَبَدَأَ خَلْقَ الْإِنسَانِ مِن طِينٍ |

| Yusuf Ali | He Who has made everything which He has created most good: He began the creation of man with (nothing more than) clay,

| ثم جعل نسله من سلالة من ماء مهين
ثُمَّ جَعَلَ نَسْلَهُ مِن سُلَالَةٍ مِّن مَّاءٍ مَّهِينٍ |

| ثم سواه ونفخ فيه من روحه وجعل لكم السمع والأبصار والأفئدة قليلا ما تشكرون
ثُمَّ سَوَّاهُ وَنَفَخَ فِيهِ مِن رُّوحِهِ وَجَعَلَ لَكُمُ السَّمْعَ وَالْأَبْصَارَ وَالْأَفْئِدَةَ قَلِيلًا مَّا تَشْكُرُونَ |

| Yusuf Ali | But He fashioned him in due proportion, and breathed into him something of His spirit. And He gave you (the faculties of) hearing and sight and feeling (and understanding): little thanks do ye give!

[32:10] | Waqaloo a-itha dalalnafee al-ardi a-inna lafee khalqin jadeedin bal humbiliqa-i rabbihim kafiroona
| وقالوا أإذا ضللنا في الأرض أإنا لفي خلق جديد بل هم بلقاء ربهم كافرون
وَقَالُوا أَئِذَا ضَلَلْنَا فِي الْأَرْضِ أَئِنَّا لَفِي خَلْقٍ جَدِيدٍ بَلْ هُم بِلِقَاءِ رَبِّهِمْ كَافِرُونَ |

| Yusuf Ali | And they say: "What! when we lie, hidden and lost, in the earth, shall we indeed be in a Creation renewed? Nay, they deny the Meeting with their Lord.
|
| Words | |وقالوا - And they say,| أإذا - "Is (it) when| ضللنا - we are lost| في - in| الأرض - the earth,| أإنا - will we| لفي - certainly be in| خلق - a creation| جديد - new?"| بل - Nay,| هم - they| بلقاء - in (the) meeting| ربهم - (of) their Lord| كافرون - (are) disbelievers.| |
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور کفار کہتے ہیں کہ جب ہم مٹی میں مِل کر گم ہوجائیں گے تو (کیا) ہم اَز سرِ نَو پیدائش میں آئیں گے، بلکہ وہ اپنے رب سے ملاقات ہی کے مُنکِر ہیں، |

[32:11] | Qul yatawaffakum malaku almawti allatheewukkila bikum thumma ila rabbikum turjaAAoona
| قل يتوفاكم ملك الموت الذي وكل بكم ثم إلى ربكم ترجعون
قُلْ يَتَوَفَّاكُم مَّلَكُ الْمَوْتِ الَّذِي وُكِّلَ بِكُمْ ثُمَّ إِلَى رَبِّكُمْ تُرْجَعُونَ |

| Yusuf Ali | Say: "The Angel of Death, put in charge of you, will (duly) take your souls: then shall ye be brought back to your Lord."

[32:12] | Walaw tara ithi almujrimoona nakisooruoosihim AAinda rabbihim rabbana absarnawasamiAAna faarjiAAna naAAmal salihaninna mooqinoona
| ولو ترى إذ المجرمون ناكسو رءوسهم عند ربهم ربنا أبصرنا وسمعنا فارجعنا نعمل صالحا إنا موقنون
وَلَوْ تَرَى إِذِ الْمُجْرِمُونَ نَاكِسُو رُؤُوسِهِمْ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ رَبَّنَا أَبْصَرْنَا وَسَمِعْنَا فَارْجِعْنَا نَعْمَلْ صَالِحًا إِنَّا مُوقِنُونَ |

| Yusuf Ali | If only thou couldst see when the guilty ones will bend low their heads before their Lord, (saying:) "Our Lord! We have seen and we have heard: Now then send us back (to the world): we will work righteousness: for we do indeed (now) believe."

| Words | |ولو - And if| ترى - you (could) see| إذ - when| المجرمون - the criminals| ناكسو - (will) hang| رءوسهم - their heads| عند - before| ربهم - their Lord,| ربنا - "Our Lord| أبصرنا - we have seen| وسمعنا - and we have heard,| فارجعنا - so return us,| نعمل - we will do| صالحا - righteous (deeds).| إنا - Indeed, we| موقنون - (are now) certain."| |
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور اگر آپ دیکھیں (تو ان پر تعجب کریں) کہ جب مُجرِم لوگ اپنے رب کے حضور سر جھکائے ہوں گے اور (کہیں گے:) اے ہمارے رب! ہم نے دیکھ لیا اور ہم نے سُن لیا، پس (اب) ہمیں (دنیا میں) واپس لوٹا دے کہ ہم نیک عمل کر لیں بیشک ہم یقین کرنے والے ہیں، |

[32:13] | Walaw shi-na laataynakulla nafsin hudaha walakin haqqaalqawlu minnee laamlaanna jahannama mina aljinnati waalnnasiajmaAAeena
| ولو شئنا لآتينا كل نفس هداها ولكن حق القول مني لأملأن جهنم من الجنة والناس أجمعين
وَلَوْ شِئْنَا لَآتَيْنَا كُلَّ نَفْسٍ هُدَاهَا وَلَكِنْ حَقَّ الْقَوْلُ مِنِّي لَأَمْلَأَنَّ جَهَنَّمَ مِنَ الْجِنَّةِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ |

| Yusuf Ali | If We had so willed, We could certainly have brought every soul its true guidance: but the Word from Me will come true, "I will fill Hell with Jinns and men all together."

| Tahir ul Qadri | اور اگر ہم چاہتے تو ہم ہر نفس کو اس کی ہدایت (اَز خود ہی) عطا کر دیتے لیکن میری طرف سے (یہ) فرمان ثابت ہو چکا ہے کہ میں ضرور سب (مُنکر) جنّات اور انسانوں سے دوزخ کو بھر دوں گا، |

[32:14] | Fathooqoo bima naseetum liqaayawmikum hatha inna naseenakum wathooqooAAathaba alkhuldi bima kuntum taAAmaloona
| فذوقوا بما نسيتم لقاء يومكم هذا إنا نسيناكم وذوقوا عذاب الخلد بما كنتم تعملون
فَذُوقُوا بِمَا نَسِيتُمْ لِقَاءَ يَوْمِكُمْ هَذَا إِنَّا نَسِينَاكُمْ وَذُوقُوا عَذَابَ الْخُلْدِ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ |

| Yusuf Ali | "Taste ye then - for ye forgot the Meeting of this Day of yours, and We too will forget you - taste ye the Penalty of Eternity for your (evil) deeds!"

[32:15] | Innama yu/minu bi-ayatinaallatheena itha thukkiroo bihakharroo sujjadan wasabbahoo bihamdi rabbihim wahumla yastakbiroona
| إنما يؤمن بآياتنا الذين إذا ذكروا بها خروا سجدا وسبحوا بحمد ربهم وهم لا يستكبرون
إِنَّمَا يُؤْمِنُ بِآيَاتِنَا الَّذِينَ إِذَا ذُكِّرُوا بِهَا خَرُّوا سُجَّدًا وَسَبَّحُوا بِحَمْدِ رَبِّهِمْ وَهُمْ لَا يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ |

| Yusuf Ali | Only those believe in Our Signs, who, when they are recited to them, fall down in prostration, and celebrate the praises of their Lord, nor are they (ever) puffed up with pride.

[32:16] | Tatajafa junoobuhum AAani almadajiAAiyadAAoona rabbahum khawfan watamaAAan wamimmarazaqnahum yunfiqoona
| تتجافى جنوبهم عن المضاجع يدعون ربهم خوفا وطمعا ومما رزقناهم ينفقون
تَتَجَافَى جُنُوبُهُمْ عَنِ الْمَضَاجِعِ يَدْعُونَ رَبَّهُمْ خَوْفًا وَطَمَعًا وَمِمَّا رَزَقْنَاهُمْ يُنفِقُونَ |

| Yusuf Ali | Their limbs do forsake their beds of sleep, the while they call on their Lord, in Fear and Hope: and they spend (in charity) out of the sustenance which We have bestowed on them.

[32:17] | Fala taAAlamu nafsun maokhfiya lahum min qurrati aAAyunin jazaan bima kanooyaAAmaloona
| فلا تعلم نفس ما أخفي لهم من قرة أعين جزاء بما كانوا يعملون
فَلَا تَعْلَمُ نَفْسٌ مَّا أُخْفِيَ لَهُم مِّن قُرَّةِ أَعْيُنٍ جَزَاءً بِمَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ |

| Yusuf Ali | Now no person knows what delights of the eye are kept hidden (in reserve) for them - as a reward for their (good) deeds.

[32:18] | Afaman kana mu/minan kaman kanafasiqan la yastawoona
| أفمن كان مؤمنا كمن كان فاسقا لا يستوون
أَفَمَن كَانَ مُؤْمِنًا كَمَن كَانَ فَاسِقًا لَّا يَسْتَوُونَ |

| Yusuf Ali | Is then the man who believes no better than the man who is rebellious and wicked? Not equal are they.

| أما الذين آمنوا وعملوا الصالحات فلهم جنات المأوى نزلا بما كانوا يعملون
أَمَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ فَلَهُمْ جَنَّاتُ الْمَأْوَى نُزُلًا بِمَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ |

| Yusuf Ali | For those who believe and do righteous deeds are Gardens as hospitable homes, for their (good) deeds.

| وأما الذين فسقوا فمأواهم النار كلما أرادوا أن يخرجوا منها أعيدوا فيها وقيل لهم ذوقوا عذاب النار الذي كنتم به تكذبون
وَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ فَسَقُوا فَمَأْوَاهُمُ النَّارُ كُلَّمَا أَرَادُوا أَن يَخْرُجُوا مِنْهَا أُعِيدُوا فِيهَا وَقِيلَ لَهُمْ ذُوقُوا عَذَابَ النَّارِ الَّذِي كُنتُم بِهِ تُكَذِّبُونَ |

| Yusuf Ali | As to those who are rebellious and wicked, their abode will be the Fire: every time they wish to get away therefrom, they will be forced thereinto, and it will be said to them: "Taste ye the Penalty of the Fire, the which ye were wont to reject as false."

| Tahir ul Qadri | اور جو لوگ نافرمان ہوئے سو ان کا ٹھکانا دوزخ ہے۔ وہ جب بھی اس سے نکل بھاگنے کا ارادہ کریں گے تو اسی میں لوٹا دیئے جائیں گے اور ان سے کہا جائے گا کہ اِس آتشِ دوزخ کا عذاب چکھتے رہو جِسے تم جھٹلایا کرتے تھے، |

[32:21] | Walanutheeqannahum mina alAAathabial-adna doona alAAathabi al-akbari laAAallahumyarjiAAoona
| ولنذيقنهم من العذاب الأدنى دون العذاب الأكبر لعلهم يرجعون
وَلَنُذِيقَنَّهُمْ مِنَ الْعَذَابِ الْأَدْنَى دُونَ الْعَذَابِ الْأَكْبَرِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُونَ |

| Yusuf Ali | And indeed We will make them taste of the Penalty of this (life) prior to the supreme Penalty, in order that they may (repent and) return.

| Words | |ولنذيقنهم - And surely, We will let them taste| من - of| العذاب - the punishment| الأدنى - the nearer| دون - before| العذاب - the punishment| الأكبر - the greater,| لعلهم - so that they may| يرجعون - return.| |
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور ہم ان کو یقیناً (آخرت کے) بڑے عذاب سے پہلے قریب تر (دنیوی) عذاب (کا مزہ) چکھائیں گے تاکہ وہ (کفر سے) باز آجائیں، |

[32:22] | Waman athlamu mimman thukkirabi-ayati rabbihi thumma aAArada AAanhainna mina almujrimeena muntaqimoona
| ومن أظلم ممن ذكر بآيات ربه ثم أعرض عنها إنا من المجرمين منتقمون
وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّن ذُكِّرَ بِآيَاتِ رَبِّهِ ثُمَّ أَعْرَضَ عَنْهَا إِنَّا مِنَ الْمُجْرِمِينَ مُنتَقِمُونَ |

| Yusuf Ali | And who does more wrong than one to whom are recited the Signs of his Lord, and who then turns away therefrom? Verily from those who transgress We shall exact (due) Retribution.

| Words | |ومن - And who| أظلم - (is) more unjust| ممن - than (he) who| ذكر - is reminded| بآيات - of (the) Verses| ربه - (of) his Lord,| ثم - then| أعرض - he turns away| عنها - from them?| إنا - Indeed, We| من - from| المجرمين - the criminals,| منتقمون - (will) take retribution.| |
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور اس شخص سے بڑھ کر ظالم کون ہو سکتا ہے جسے اس کے رب کی آیتوں کے ذریعے نصیحت کی جائے پھر وہ اُن سے منہ پھیر لے، بیشک ہم مُجرموں سے بدلہ لینے والے ہیں، |

[32:23] | Walaqad atayna moosaalkitaba fala takun fee miryatin min liqa-ihiwajaAAalnahu hudan libanee isra-eela
| ولقد آتينا موسى الكتاب فلا تكن في مرية من لقائه وجعلناه هدى لبني إسرائيل
وَلَقَدْ آتَيْنَا مُوسَى الْكِتَابَ فَلَا تَكُن فِي مِرْيَةٍ مِّن لِّقَائِهِ وَجَعَلْنَاهُ هُدًى لِّبَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ |

| Yusuf Ali | We did indeed aforetime give the Book to Moses: be not then in doubt of its reaching (thee): and We made it a guide to the Children of Israel.

| Words | |ولقد - And certainly| آتينا - We gave| موسى - Musa| الكتاب - the Scripture,| فلا - so (do) not| تكن - be| في - in| مرية - doubt| من - about| لقائه - receiving it.| وجعلناه - And We made it| هدى - a guide| لبني - for the Children of Israel.| إسرائيل - for the Children of Israel.| |
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور بیشک ہم نے موسٰی (علیہ السلام) کو کتاب (تورات) عطا فرمائی تو آپ ان کی ملاقات کی نسبت شک میں نہ رہیں (وہ ملاقات آپ سے عنقریب شبِ معراج ہونے والی ہے) اور ہم نے اسے بنی اسرائیل کے لئے ہدایت بنایا، |

[32:24] | WajaAAalna minhum a-immatan yahdoonabi-amrina lamma sabaroo wakanoo bi-ayatinayooqinoona
| وجعلنا منهم أئمة يهدون بأمرنا لما صبروا وكانوا بآياتنا يوقنون
وَجَعَلْنَا مِنْهُمْ أَئِمَّةً يَهْدُونَ بِأَمْرِنَا لَمَّا صَبَرُوا وَكَانُوا بِآيَاتِنَا يُوقِنُونَ |

| Yusuf Ali | And We appointed, from among them, leaders, giving guidance under Our command, so long as they persevered with patience and continued to have faith in Our Signs.

| Words | |وجعلنا - And We made| منهم - from them| أئمة - leaders| يهدون - guiding| بأمرنا - by Our Command| لما - when| صبروا - they were patient| وكانوا - and they were| بآياتنا - of Our Verses| يوقنون - certain.| |
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور ہم نے ان میں سے جب وہ صبر کرتے رہے کچھ امام و پیشوا بنا دیئے جو ہمارے حکم سے ہدایت کرتے رہے اور وہ ہماری آیتوں پر یقین رکھتے تھے، |

[32:25] | Inna rabbaka huwa yafsilu baynahumyawma alqiyamati feema kanoo feehiyakhtalifoona
| إن ربك هو يفصل بينهم يوم القيامة فيما كانوا فيه يختلفون
إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ يَفْصِلُ بَيْنَهُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فِيمَا كَانُوا فِيهِ يَخْتَلِفُونَ |

| Yusuf Ali | Verily thy Lord will judge between them on the Day of Judgment, in the matters wherein they differ (among themselves)

| Words | |إن - Indeed,| ربك - your Lord| هو - [He]| يفصل - will judge| بينهم - between them| يوم - (on the) Day| القيامة - (of) Resurrection| فيما - in what| كانوا - they used (to)| فيه - [in it]| يختلفون - differ.| |
| Tahir ul Qadri | بیشک آپ کا رب ہی ان لوگوں کے درمیان قیامت کے دن ان (باتوں) کا فیصلہ فرما دے گا جن میں وہ اختلاف کیا کرتے تھے، |

[32:26] | Awa lam yahdi lahum kam ahlakna minqablihim mina alqurooni yamshoona fee masakinihim inna feethalika laayatin afala yasmaAAoona
| أولم يهد لهم كم أهلكنا من قبلهم من القرون يمشون في مساكنهم إن في ذلك لآيات أفلا يسمعون
أَوَلَمْ يَهْدِ لَهُمْ كَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا مِن قَبْلِهِم مِّنَ الْقُرُونِ يَمْشُونَ فِي مَسَاكِنِهِمْ إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ أَفَلَا يَسْمَعُونَ |

| Yusuf Ali | Does it not teach them a lesson, how many generations We destroyed before them, in whose dwellings they (now) go to and fro? Verily in that are Signs: Do they not then listen?

| Tahir ul Qadri | اور کیا انہیں (اس امر سے) ہدایت نہیں ہوئی کہ ہم نے اِن سے پہلے کتنی ہی امّتوں کو ہلاک کر ڈالا تھا جن کی رہائش گاہوں میں (اب) یہ لوگ چَلتے پِھرتے ہیں۔ بیشک اس میں نشانیاں ہیں، تو کیا وہ سنتے نہیں ہیں، |

[32:27] | Awa lam yaraw anna nasooqu almaaila al-ardi aljuruzi fanukhriju bihi zarAAanta-kulu minhu anAAamuhum waanfusuhum afala yubsiroona
| أولم يروا أنا نسوق الماء إلى الأرض الجرز فنخرج به زرعا تأكل منه أنعامهم وأنفسهم أفلا يبصرون
أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا أَنَّا نَسُوقُ الْمَاءَ إِلَى الْأَرْضِ الْجُرُزِ فَنُخْرِجُ بِهِ زَرْعًا تَأْكُلُ مِنْهُ أَنْعَامُهُمْ وَأَنفُسُهُمْ أَفَلَا يُبْصِرُونَ |

| Yusuf Ali | And do they not see that We do drive rain to parched soil (bare of herbage), and produce therewith crops, providing food for their cattle and themselves? Have they not the vision?

| Tahir ul Qadri | اور کیا انہوں نے نہیں دیکھا کہ ہم پانی کو بنجَر زمین کی طرف بہا لے جاتے ہیں، پھر ہم اس سے کھیت نکالتے ہیں جس سے ان کے چوپائے (بھی) کھاتے ہیں اور وہ خود بھی کھاتے ہیں، تو کیا وہ دیکھتے نہیں ہیں، |

[32:28] | Wayaqooloona mata hatha alfathuin kuntum sadiqeena
| ويقولون متى هذا الفتح إن كنتم صادقين
وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَى هَذَا الْفَتْحُ إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ |

| Yusuf Ali | They say: "When will this decision be, if ye are telling the truth?"
|
| Words | |ويقولون - And they say,| متى - "When (will be)| هذا - this| الفتح - decision,| إن - if| كنتم - you are| صادقين - truthful?"| |
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور کہتے ہیں: یہ فیصلہ (کا دن) کب ہوگا اگر تم سچے ہو، |

[32:29] | Qul yawma alfathi la yanfaAAuallatheena kafaroo eemanuhum wala hum yuntharoona
| قل يوم الفتح لا ينفع الذين كفروا إيمانهم ولا هم ينظرون
قُلْ يَوْمَ الْفَتْحِ لَا يَنفَعُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا إِيْمَانُهُمْ وَلَا هُمْ يُنظَرُونَ |

| Yusuf Ali | Say: "On the Day of Decision, no profit will it be to Unbelievers if they (then) believe! nor will they be granted a respite."

| Words | |قل - Say,| يوم - "(On the) Day| الفتح - (of) the Decision,| لا - not| ينفع - will benefit| الذين - those who| كفروا - disbelieve| إيمانهم - their belief| ولا - and not| هم - they| ينظرون - will be granted respite."| |
| Tahir ul Qadri | آپ فرما دیں: فیصلہ کے دن نہ کافروں کو ان کا ایمان فائدہ دے گا اور نہ ہی انہیں مہلت دی جائے گی، |

[32:30] | FaaAArid AAanhum waintathirinnahum muntathiroona
| فأعرض عنهم وانتظر إنهم منتظرون
فَأَعْرِضْ عَنْهُمْ وَانتَظِرْ إِنَّهُم مُّنتَظِرُونَ |

| Yusuf Ali | So turn away from them, and wait: they too are waiting.

| Words | |فأعرض - So turn away| عنهم - from them| وانتظر - and wait.| إنهم - Indeed, they| منتظرون - (are) waiting.| |
