[64:1] | Yusabbihu lillahi ma feealssamawati wama fee al-ardilahu almulku walahu alhamdu wahuwa AAala kullishay-in qadeerun
|  يسبح لله ما في السماوات وما في الأرض له الملك وله الحمد وهو على كل شيء قدير
يُسَبِّحُ لِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ |

| Yusuf Ali | Whatever is in the heavens and on earth, doth declare the Praises and Glory of Allah: to Him belongs dominion, and to Him belongs praise: and He has power over all things.

[64:2] | Huwa allathee khalaqakum faminkum kafirunwaminkum mu/minun waAllahu bima taAAmaloonabaseerun
| هو الذي خلقكم فمنكم كافر ومنكم مؤمن والله بما تعملون بصير
هُوَ الَّذِي خَلَقَكُمْ فَمِنكُمْ كَافِرٌ وَمِنكُم مُّؤْمِنٌ وَاللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ |

| Yusuf Ali | It is He Who has created you; and of you are some that are Unbelievers, and some that are Believers: and Allah sees well all that ye do.

[64:3] | Khalaqa alssamawati waal-ardabialhaqqi wasawwarakum faahsana suwarakumwa-ilayhi almaseeru
| خلق السماوات والأرض بالحق وصوركم فأحسن صوركم وإليه المصير
خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ بِالْحَقِّ وَصَوَّرَكُمْ فَأَحْسَنَ صُوَرَكُمْ وَإِلَيْهِ الْمَصِيرُ |

| Yusuf Ali | He has created the heavens and the earth in just proportions, and has given you shape, and made your shapes beautiful: and to Him is the final Goal.

| يعلم ما في السماوات والأرض ويعلم ما تسرون وما تعلنون والله عليم بذات الصدور
يَعْلَمُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا تُسِرُّونَ وَمَا تُعْلِنُونَ وَاللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُورِ |

| Yusuf Ali | He knows what is in the heavens and on earth; and He knows what ye conceal and what ye reveal: yea, Allah knows well the (secrets) of (all) hearts.

[64:5] | Alam ya/tikum nabao allatheena kafaroomin qablu fathaqoo wabala amrihim walahum AAathabunaleemun
| ألم يأتكم نبأ الذين كفروا من قبل فذاقوا وبال أمرهم ولهم عذاب أليم
أَلَمْ يَأْتِكُمْ نَبَؤُاْ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِن قَبْلُ فَذَاقُوا وَبَالَ أَمْرِهِمْ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ |

| Yusuf Ali | Has not the story reached you, of those who rejected Faith aforetime? So they tasted the evil result of their conduct; and they had a grievous Penalty.

[64:6] | Thalika bi-annahu kanatta/teehim rusuluhum bialbayyinati faqalooabasharun yahdoonana fakafaroo watawallaw waistaghnaAllahu waAllahu ghaniyyun hameedun
| ذلك بأنه كانت تأتيهم رسلهم بالبينات فقالوا أبشر يهدوننا فكفروا وتولوا واستغنى الله والله غني حميد
ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّهُ كَانَت تَّأْتِيهِمْ رُسُلُهُم بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ فَقَالُوا أَبَشَرٌ يَهْدُونَنَا فَكَفَرُوا وَتَوَلَّوا وَّاسْتَغْنَى اللَّهُ وَاللَّهُ غَنِيٌّ حَمِيدٌ |

| Yusuf Ali | That was because there came to them messengers with Clear Signs, but they said: "Shall (mere) human beings direct us?" So they rejected (the Message) and turned away. But Allah can do without (them): and Allah is free of all needs, worthy of all praise.

| Tahir ul Qadri | یہ اس لئے کہ اُن کے پاس اُن کے رسول واضح نشانیاں لے کر آتے تھے تو وہ کہتے تھے: کیا (ہماری ہی مثل اور ہم جنس) بشر٭ ہمیں ہدایت کریں گے؟ سو وہ کافر ہوگئے اور انہوں نے (حق سے) رُوگردانی کی اور اللہ نے بھی (اُن کی) کچھ پرواہ نہ کی، اور اللہ بے نیاز ہے لائقِ حمد و ثنا ہے، ٭ بشر کا یہ معنی ائمہ تفاسیر کے بیان کردہ معنی کے مطابق ہے۔ حوالہ جات کے لئے دیکھیں: تفسیر طبری، الکشاف، نسفی، بغوی، خازن، جمل، مظہری اور فتح القدیر وغیرہ۔ |

[64:7] | ZaAAama allatheena kafaroo an lanyubAAathoo qul bala warabbee latubAAathunna thummalatunabbaonna bima AAamiltum wathalika AAalaAllahi yaseerun
| زعم الذين كفروا أن لن يبعثوا قل بلى وربي لتبعثن ثم لتنبؤن بما عملتم وذلك على الله يسير
زَعَمَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا أَن لَّن يُبْعَثُوا قُلْ بَلَى وَرَبِّي لَتُبْعَثُنَّ ثُمَّ لَتُنَبَّؤُنَّ بِمَا عَمِلْتُمْ وَذَلِكَ عَلَى اللَّهِ يَسِيرٌ |

| Yusuf Ali | The Unbelievers think that they will not be raised up (for Judgment). Say: "Yea, By my Lord, Ye shall surely be raised up: then shall ye be told (the truth) of all that ye did. And that is easy for Allah."

| Tahir ul Qadri | کافر لوگ یہ خیال کرتے ہیں کہ وہ (دوبارہ) ہرگز نہ اٹھائے جائیں گے۔ فرما دیجئے: کیوں نہیں، میرے رب کی قسم! تم ضرور اٹھائے جاؤ گے پھر تمہیں بتا دیا جائے گا جو کچھ تم نے کیا تھا، اور یہ اللہ پر بہت آسان ہے، |

[64:8] | Faaminoo biAllahiwarasoolihi waalnnoori allathee anzalna waAllahubima taAAmaloona khabeerun
| فآمنوا بالله ورسوله والنور الذي أنزلنا والله بما تعملون خبير
فَآمِنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ وَالنُّورِ الَّذِي أَنزَلْنَا وَاللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرٌ |

| Yusuf Ali | Believe, therefore, in Allah and His Messenger, and in the Light which we have sent down. And Allah is well acquainted with all that ye do.

[64:9] | Yawma yajmaAAukum liyawmi aljamAAi thalikayawmu alttaghabuni waman yu/min biAllahiwayaAAmal salihan yukaffir AAanhu sayyi-atihiwayudkhilhu jannatin tajree min tahtihaal-anharu khalideena feeha abadan thalikaalfawzu alAAatheemu
| يوم يجمعكم ليوم الجمع ذلك يوم التغابن ومن يؤمن بالله ويعمل صالحا يكفر عنه سيئاته ويدخله جنات تجري من تحتها الأنهار خالدين فيها أبدا ذلك الفوز العظيم
يَوْمَ يَجْمَعُكُمْ لِيَوْمِ الْجَمْعِ ذَلِكَ يَوْمُ التَّغَابُنِ وَمَن يُؤْمِن بِاللَّهِ وَيَعْمَلْ صَالِحًا يُكَفِّرْ عَنْهُ سَيِّئَاتِهِ وَيُدْخِلْهُ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا أَبَدًا ذَلِكَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ |

| Yusuf Ali | The Day that He assembles you (all) for a Day of Assembly,- that will be a Day of mutual loss and gain (among you), and those who believe in Allah and work righteousness,- He will remove from them their ills, and He will admit them to Gardens beneath which Rivers flow, to dwell therein for ever: that will be the Supreme Achievement.

| Tahir ul Qadri | جس دن وہ تمہیں جمع ہونے کے دن (میدانِ حشر میں) اکٹھا کرے گا یہ ہار اور نقصان ظاہر ہونے کا دن ہے۔ اور جو شخص اللہ پر ایمان لاتا ہے اور نیک عمل کرتا ہے تو (اللہ) اس (کے نامۂ اعمال) سے اس کی خطائیں مٹا دے گا اور اسے جنتوں میں داخل فرما دے گا جن کے نیچے سے نہریں بہہ رہی ہیں وہ ان میں ہمیشہ رہنے والے ہوں گے، یہ بہت بڑی کامیابی ہے، |

[64:10] | Waallatheena kafaroo wakaththaboobi-ayatina ola-ika as-habualnnari khalideena feeha wabi/sa almaseeru
| والذين كفروا وكذبوا بآياتنا أولئك أصحاب النار خالدين فيها وبئس المصير
وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَكَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِنَا أُوْلَئِكَ أَصْحَابُ النَّارِ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا وَبِئْسَ الْمَصِيرُ |

| Yusuf Ali | But those who reject Faith and treat Our Signs as falsehoods, they will be Companions of the Fire, to dwell therein for aye: and evil is that Goal.

[64:11] | Ma asaba min museebatinilla bi-ithni Allahi waman yu/min biAllahiyahdi qalbahu waAllahu bikulli shay-in AAaleemun
| ما أصاب من مصيبة إلا بإذن الله ومن يؤمن بالله يهد قلبه والله بكل شيء عليم
مَا أَصَابَ مِن مُّصِيبَةٍ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ وَمَن يُؤْمِن بِاللَّهِ يَهْدِ قَلْبَهُ وَاللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ |

| Yusuf Ali | No kind of calamity can occur, except by the leave of Allah: and if any one believes in Allah, (Allah) guides his heart (aright): for Allah knows all things.

[64:12] | WaateeAAoo Allaha waateeAAooalrrasoola fa-in tawallaytum fa-innama AAalarasoolina albalaghu almubeenu
| وأطيعوا الله وأطيعوا الرسول فإن توليتم فإنما على رسولنا البلاغ المبين
وَأَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُوا الرَّسُولَ فَإِن تَوَلَّيْتُمْ فَإِنَّمَا عَلَى رَسُولِنَا الْبَلَاغُ الْمُبِينُ |

| Yusuf Ali | So obey Allah, and obey His Messenger: but if ye turn back, the duty of Our Messenger is but to proclaim (the Message) clearly and openly.

[64:13] | Allahu la ilaha illahuwa waAAala Allahi falyatawakkali almu/minoona
| الله لا إله إلا هو وعلى الله فليتوكل المؤمنون
اللَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ وَعَلَى اللَّهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ |

| Yusuf Ali | Allah! There is no god but He: and on Allah, therefore, let the Believers put their trust.

[64:14] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanooinna min azwajikum waawladikum AAaduwwan lakum faihtharoohumwa-in taAAfoo watasfahoo wataghfiroo fa-inna Allahaghafoorun raheemun
| يا أيها الذين آمنوا إن من أزواجكم وأولادكم عدوا لكم فاحذروهم وإن تعفوا وتصفحوا وتغفروا فإن الله غفور رحيم
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِنَّ مِنْ أَزْوَاجِكُمْ وَأَوْلَادِكُمْ عَدُوًّا لَّكُمْ فَاحْذَرُوهُمْ وَإِن تَعْفُوا وَتَصْفَحُوا وَتَغْفِرُوا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ |

| Yusuf Ali | O ye who believe! Truly, among your wives and your children are (some that are) enemies to yourselves: so beware of them! But if ye forgive and overlook, and cover up (their faults), verily Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

| Tahir ul Qadri | اے ایمان والو! بیشک تمہاری بیویوں اور تمہاری اولاد میں سے بعض تمہارے دشمن ہیں پس اُن سے ہوشیار رہو۔ اور اگر تم صرفِ نظر کر لو اور درگزر کرو اور معاف کر دو تو بیشک اللہ بڑا بخشنے والا نہایت مہربان ہے، |

[64:15] | Innama amwalukum waawladukumfitnatun waAllahu AAindahu ajrun AAatheemun
| إنما أموالكم وأولادكم فتنة والله عنده أجر عظيم
إِنَّمَا أَمْوَالُكُمْ وَأَوْلَادُكُمْ فِتْنَةٌ وَاللَّهُ عِندَهُ أَجْرٌ عَظِيمٌ |

| Yusuf Ali | Your riches and your children may be but a trial: but in the Presence of Allah, is the highest, Reward.
|
| Words | |إنما - Only| أموالكم - your wealth| وأولادكم - and your children| فتنة - (are) a trial,| والله - and Allah -| عنده - with Him| أجر - (is) a reward| عظيم - great.| |

[64:16] | Faittaqoo Allaha maistataAAtum waismaAAoo waateeAAoo waanfiqookhayran li-anfusikum waman yooqa shuhha nafsihi faola-ikahumu almuflihoona
| فاتقوا الله ما استطعتم واسمعوا وأطيعوا وأنفقوا خيرا لأنفسكم ومن يوق شح نفسه فأولئك هم المفلحون
فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُمْ وَاسْمَعُوا وَأَطِيعُوا وَأَنفِقُوا خَيْرًا لِّأَنفُسِكُمْ وَمَن يُوقَ شُحَّ نَفْسِهِ فَأُوْلَئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ |

| Yusuf Ali | So fear Allah as much as ye can; listen and obey and spend in charity for the benefit of your own soul and those saved from the covetousness of their own souls,- they are the ones that achieve prosperity.

| Tahir ul Qadri | پس تم اللہ سے ڈرتے رہو جس قدر تم سے ہوسکے اور (اُس کے احکام) سنو اور اطاعت کرو اور (اس کی راہ میں) خرچ کرو یہ تمہارے لئے بہتر ہوگا، اور جو اپنے نفس کے بخل سے بچا لیا جائے سو وہی لوگ فلاح پانے والے ہیں، |

[64:17] | In tuqridoo Allaha qardanhasanan yudaAAifhu lakum wayaghfir lakum waAllahushakoorun haleemun
| إن تقرضوا الله قرضا حسنا يضاعفه لكم ويغفر لكم والله شكور حليم
إِن تُقْرِضُوا اللَّهَ قَرْضًا حَسَنًا يُضَاعِفْهُ لَكُمْ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ وَاللَّهُ شَكُورٌ حَلِيمٌ |
