|  سبح لله ما في السماوات وما في الأرض وهو العزيز الحكيم
سَبَّحَ لِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ |

| Yusuf Ali | Whatever is in the heavens and on earth, let it declare the Praises and Glory of Allah: for He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.

| يا أيها الذين آمنوا لم تقولون ما لا تفعلون
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آَمَنُوا لِمَ تَقُولُونَ مَا لَا تَفْعَلُونَ |

| Yusuf Ali | O ye who believe! Why say ye that which ye do not?

كَبُرَ مَقْتًا عِندَ اللَّهِ أَن تَقُولُوا مَا لَا تَفْعَلُونَ |

| إن الله يحب الذين يقاتلون في سبيله صفا كأنهم بنيان مرصوص
إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ الَّذِينَ يُقَاتِلُونَ فِي سَبِيلِهِ صَفًّا كَأَنَّهُم بُنيَانٌ مَّرْصُوصٌ |

| Yusuf Ali | Truly Allah loves those who fight in His Cause in battle array, as if they were a solid cemented structure.

[61:5] | Wa-ith qala moosaliqawmihi ya qawmi lima tu/thoonanee waqadtaAAlamoona annee rasoolu Allahi ilaykum falamma zaghooazagha Allahu quloobahum waAllahu layahdee alqawma alfasiqeena
| وإذ قال موسى لقومه يا قوم لم تؤذونني وقد تعلمون أني رسول الله إليكم فلما زاغوا أزاغ الله قلوبهم والله لا يهدي القوم الفاسقين
وَإِذْ قَالَ مُوسَى لِقَوْمِهِ يَا قَوْمِ لِمَ تُؤْذُونَنِي وَقَد تَّعْلَمُونَ أَنِّي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ إِلَيْكُمْ فَلَمَّا زَاغُوا أَزَاغَ اللَّهُ قُلُوبَهُمْ وَاللَّهُ لَا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الْفَاسِقِينَ |

| Yusuf Ali | And remember, Moses said to his people: "O my people! why do ye vex and insult me, though ye know that I am the messenger of Allah (sent) to you?" Then when they went wrong, Allah let their hearts go wrong. For Allah guides not those who are rebellious transgressors.

| Tahir ul Qadri | اور (اے حبیب! وہ وقت یاد کیجئے) جب موسٰی (علیہ السلام) نے اپنی قوم سے کہا: اے میری قوم! تم مجھے اذیت کیوں دیتے ہو حالانکہ تم جانتے ہو کہ میں تمہاری طرف اللہ کا بھیجا ہوا (رسول) ہوں۔ پھر جب انہوں نے کج روی جاری رکھی تو اللہ نے اُن کے دلوں کو ٹیڑھا کر دیا، اور اللہ نافرمان لوگوں کو ہدایت نہیں فرماتا، |

[61:6] | Wa-ith qala AAeesa ibnumaryama ya banee isra-eela innee rasoolu Allahiilaykum musaddiqan lima bayna yadayya mina alttawratiwamubashshiran birasoolin ya/tee min baAAdee ismuhu ahmadufalamma jaahum bialbayyinati qaloohatha sihrun mubeenun
| وإذ قال عيسى ابن مريم يا بني إسرائيل إني رسول الله إليكم مصدقا لما بين يدي من التوراة ومبشرا برسول يأتي من بعدي اسمه أحمد فلما جاءهم بالبينات قالوا هذا سحر مبين
وَإِذْ قَالَ عِيسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ يَا بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ إِنِّي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ إِلَيْكُم مُّصَدِّقًا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيَّ مِنَ التَّوْرَاةِ وَمُبَشِّرًا بِرَسُولٍ يَأْتِي مِن بَعْدِي اسْمُهُ أَحْمَدُ فَلَمَّا جَاءَهُم بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ قَالُوا هَذَا سِحْرٌ مُّبِينٌ |

| Yusuf Ali | And remember, Jesus, the son of Mary, said: "O Children of Israel! I am the messenger of Allah (sent) to you, confirming the Law (which came) before me, and giving Glad Tidings of a Messenger to come after me, whose name shall be Ahmad." But when he came to them with Clear Signs, they said, "this is evident sorcery!"

| Tahir ul Qadri | اور (وہ وقت بھی یاد کیجئے) جب عیسٰی بن مریم (علیہما السلام) نے کہا: اے بنی اسرائیل! بیشک میں تمہاری طرف اللہ کا بھیجا ہوا (رسول) ہوں، اپنے سے پہلی کتاب تورات کی تصدیق کرنے والا ہوں اور اُس رسولِ (معظّم صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی (آمد آمد) کی بشارت سنانے والا ہوں جو میرے بعد تشریف لا رہے ہیں جن کا نام (آسمانوں میں اس وقت) احمد (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) ہے، پھر جب وہ (رسولِ آخر الزماں صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) واضح نشانیاں لے کر اُن کے پاس تشریف لے آئے تو وہ کہنے لگے: یہ تو کھلا جادو ہے، |

[61:7] | Waman athlamu mimmani iftaraAAala Allahi alkathiba wahuwa yudAAaila al-islami waAllahu layahdee alqawma alththalimeena
| ومن أظلم ممن افترى على الله الكذب وهو يدعى إلى الإسلام والله لا يهدي القوم الظالمين
وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّنِ افْتَرَى عَلَى اللَّهِ الْكَذِبَ وَهُوَ يُدْعَى إِلَى الْإِسْلَامِ وَاللَّهُ لَا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الظَّالِمِينَ |

| Yusuf Ali | Who doth greater wrong than one who invents falsehood against Allah, even as he is being invited to Islam? And Allah guides not those who do wrong.

[61:8] | Yureedoona liyutfi-oo noora Allahibi-afwahihim waAllahu mutimmu noorihi walawkariha alkafiroona
| يريدون ليطفئوا نور الله بأفواههم والله متم نوره ولو كره الكافرون
يُرِيدُونَ لِيُطْفِؤُوا نُورَ اللَّهِ بِأَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَاللَّهُ مُتِمُّ نُورِهِ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْكَافِرُونَ |

| Yusuf Ali | Their intention is to extinguish Allah's Light (by blowing) with their mouths: But Allah will complete (the revelation of) His Light, even though the Unbelievers may detest (it).

[61:9] | Huwa allathee arsala rasoolahu bialhudawadeeni alhaqqi liyuthhirahu AAala alddeenikullihi walaw kariha almushrikoona
| هو الذي أرسل رسوله بالهدى ودين الحق ليظهره على الدين كله ولو كره المشركون
هُوَ الَّذِي أَرْسَلَ رَسُولَهُ بِالْهُدَى وَدِينِ الْحَقِّ لِيُظْهِرَهُ عَلَى الدِّينِ كُلِّهِ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْمُشْرِكُونَ |

| Yusuf Ali | It is He Who has sent His Messenger with Guidance and the Religion of Truth, that he may proclaim it over all religion, even though the Pagans may detest (it).

[61:10] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoohal adullukum AAala tijaratin tunjeekum min AAathabinaleemin
| يا أيها الذين آمنوا هل أدلكم على تجارة تنجيكم من عذاب أليم
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا هَلْ أَدُلُّكُمْ عَلَى تِجَارَةٍ تُنجِيكُم مِّنْ عَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ |

| Yusuf Ali | O ye who believe! Shall I lead you to a bargain that will save you from a grievous Penalty?-

[61:11] | Tu/minoona biAllahiwarasoolihi watujahidoona fee sabeeli Allahi bi-amwalikumwaanfusikum thalikum khayrun lakum in kuntum taAAlamoona
| تؤمنون بالله ورسوله وتجاهدون في سبيل الله بأموالكم وأنفسكم ذلكم خير لكم إن كنتم تعلمون
تُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ وَتُجَاهِدُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ بِأَمْوَالِكُمْ وَأَنفُسِكُمْ ذَلِكُمْ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ |

| Yusuf Ali | That ye believe in Allah and His Messenger, and that ye strive (your utmost) in the Cause of Allah, with your property and your persons: That will be best for you, if ye but knew!

[61:12] | Yaghfir lakum thunoobakumwayudkhilkum jannatin tajree min tahtihaal-anharu wamasakina tayyibatan fee jannatiAAadnin thalika alfawzu alAAatheemu
| يغفر لكم ذنوبكم ويدخلكم جنات تجري من تحتها الأنهار ومساكن طيبة في جنات عدن ذلك الفوز العظيم
يَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ذُنُوبَكُمْ وَيُدْخِلْكُمْ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ وَمَسَاكِنَ طَيِّبَةً فِي جَنَّاتِ عَدْنٍ ذَلِكَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ |

| Yusuf Ali | He will forgive you your sins, and admit you to Gardens beneath which Rivers flow, and to beautiful mansions in Gardens of Eternity: that is indeed the Supreme Achievement.

[61:13] | Waokhra tuhibboonaha nasrunmina Allahi wafathun qarreebun wabashshirialmu/mineena
| وأخرى تحبونها نصر من الله وفتح قريب وبشر المؤمنين
وَأُخْرَى تُحِبُّونَهَا نَصْرٌ مِّنَ اللَّهِ وَفَتْحٌ قَرِيبٌ وَبَشِّرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ |

| Yusuf Ali | And another (favour will He bestow,) which ye do love,- help from Allah and a speedy victory. So give the Glad Tidings to the Believers.

[61:14] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanookoonoo ansara Allahi kama qala AAeesaibnu maryama lilhawariyyeena man ansaree ilaAllahi qala alhawariyyoona nahnuansaru Allahi faamanat ta-ifatun minbanee isra-eela wakafarat ta-ifatun faayyadnaallatheena amanoo AAala AAaduwwihim faasbahoothahireena
| يا أيها الذين آمنوا كونوا أنصار الله كما قال عيسى ابن مريم للحواريين من أنصاري إلى الله قال الحواريون نحن أنصار الله فآمنت طائفة من بني إسرائيل وكفرت طائفة فأيدنا الذين آمنوا على عدوهم فأصبحوا ظاهرين
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آَمَنُوا كُونُوا أَنصَارَ اللَّهِ كَمَا قَالَ عِيسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ لِلْحَوَارِيِّيْنَ مَنْ أَنصَارِي إِلَى اللَّهِ قَالَ الْحَوَارِيُّونَ نَحْنُ أَنصَارُ اللَّهِ فَآمَنَت طَّائِفَةٌ مِّن بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ وَكَفَرَت طَّائِفَةٌ فَأَيَّدْنَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا عَلَى عَدُوِّهِمْ فَأَصْبَحُوا ظَاهِرِينَ |

| Yusuf Ali | O ye who believe! Be ye helpers of Allah: As said Jesus the son of Mary to the Disciples, "Who will be my helpers to (the work of) Allah?" Said the disciples, "We are Allah's helpers!" then a portion of the Children of Israel believed, and a portion disbelieved: But We gave power to those who believed, against their enemies, and they became the ones that prevailed.

| Tahir ul Qadri | اے ایمان والو! تم اللہ کے مددگار بن جاؤ جیسا کہ عیسٰی ابن مریم (علیہما السلام) نے (اپنے) حواریوں سے کہا تھا: اللہ کی (راہ کی) طرف میرے مددگار کون ہیں؟ حواریوں نے کہا: ہم اللہ کے مددگار ہیں۔ پس بنی اسرائیل کا ایک گروہ ایمان لے آیا اور دوسرا گروہ کافر ہوگیا، سو ہم نے اُن لوگوں کی جو ایمان لے آئے تھے اُن کے دشمنوں پر مدد فرمائی پس وہ غالب ہوگئے، |
