|  أتى أمر الله فلا تستعجلوه سبحانه وتعالى عما يشركون
أَتَى أَمْرُ اللّهِ فَلاَ تَسْتَعْجِلُوهُ سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ |

| Yusuf Ali | (Inevitable) cometh (to pass) the Command of Allah: seek ye not then to hasten it: Glory to Him, and far is He above having the partners they ascribe unto Him!

[16:2] | Yunazzilu almala-ikata bialrroohimin amrihi AAala man yashao min AAibadihi ananthiroo annahu la ilaha illa anafaittaqooni
| ينزل الملائكة بالروح من أمره على من يشاء من عباده أن أنذروا أنه لا إله إلا أنا فاتقون
يُنَزِّلُ الْمَلَآئِكَةَ بِالْرُّوحِ مِنْ أَمْرِهِ عَلَى مَن يَشَاءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ أَنْ أَنذِرُواْ أَنَّهُ لاَ إِلَـهَ إِلاَّ أَنَاْ فَاتَّقُونِ |

| Yusuf Ali | He doth send down His angels with inspiration of His Command, to such of His servants as He pleaseth, (saying): "Warn (Man) that there is no god but I: so do your duty unto Me."

[16:3] | Khalaqa alssamawati waal-ardabialhaqqi taAAala AAammayushrikoona
| خلق السماوات والأرض بالحق تعالى عما يشركون
خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ بِالْحَقِّ تَعَالَى عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ |

| Yusuf Ali | He has created the heavens and the earth for just ends: Far is He above having the partners they ascribe to Him!

[16:4] | Khalaqa al-insana min nutfatinfa-itha huwa khaseemun mubeenun
| خلق الإنسان من نطفة فإذا هو خصيم مبين
خَلَقَ الْإِنسَانَ مِن نُّطْفَةٍ فَإِذَا هُوَ خَصِيمٌ مُّبِينٌ |

| Yusuf Ali | He has created man from a sperm-drop; and behold this same (man) becomes an open disputer!

| Words | |خلق - He created| الإنسان - the human kind| من - from| نطفة - a minute quantity of semen| فإذا - then behold,| هو - he| خصيم - (is) an opponent| مبين - clear.| |

[16:5] | Waal-anAAama khalaqahalakum feeha dif-on wamanafiAAu waminhata-kuloona
| والأنعام خلقها لكم فيها دفء ومنافع ومنها تأكلون
وَالْأَنْعَامَ خَلَقَهَا لَكُمْ فِيهَا دِفْءٌ وَمَنَافِعُ وَمِنْهَا تَأْكُلُونَ |

| Yusuf Ali | And cattle He has created for you (men): from them ye derive warmth, and numerous benefits, and of their (meat) ye eat.
|
| Words | |والأنعام - And the cattle,| خلقها - He created them| لكم - for you,| فيها - in them| دفء - (is) warmth| ومنافع - and benefits| ومنها - and from them| تأكلون - you eat.| |
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور اُسی نے تمہارے لئے چوپائے پیدا فرمائے، ان میں تمہارے لئے گرم لباس ہے اور (دوسرے) فوائد ہیں اور ان میں سے بعض کو تم کھاتے (بھی) ہو، |

[16:6] | Walakum feeha jamalun heenatureehoona waheena tasrahoona
| ولكم فيها جمال حين تريحون وحين تسرحون
وَلَكُمْ فِيهَا جَمَالٌ حِينَ تُرِيحُونَ وَحِينَ تَسْرَحُونَ |

| Yusuf Ali | And ye have a sense of pride and beauty in them as ye drive them home in the evening, and as ye lead them forth to pasture in the morning.

| Words | |ولكم - And for you| فيها - in them| جمال - (is) beauty| حين - when| تريحون - you bring them in| وحين - and when| تسرحون - you take them out.| |
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور ان میں تمہارے لئے رونق (اور دل کشی بھی) ہے جب تم شام کو چراگاہ سے (واپس) لاتے ہو اور جب تم صبح کو (چرانے کے لئے) لے جاتے ہو، |

[16:7] | Watahmilu athqalakum ilabaladin lam takoonoo baligheehi illa bishiqqial-anfusi inna rabbakum laraoofun raheemun
| وتحمل أثقالكم إلى بلد لم تكونوا بالغيه إلا بشق الأنفس إن ربكم لرءوف رحيم
وَتَحْمِلُ أَثْقَالَكُمْ إِلَى بَلَدٍ لَّمْ تَكُونُواْ بَالِغِيهِ إِلاَّ بِشِقِّ الْأَنفُسِ إِنَّ رَبَّكُمْ لَرَؤُوفٌ رَّحِيمٌ |

| Yusuf Ali | And they carry your heavy loads to lands that ye could not (otherwise) reach except with souls distressed: for your Lord is indeed Most Kind, Most Merciful,

| Tahir ul Qadri | اور یہ (جانور) تمہارے بوجھ (بھی) ان شہروں تک اٹھا لے جاتے ہیں جہاں تم بغیر جانکاہ مشقت کے نہیں پہنچ سکتے تھے، بیشک تمہارا رب نہایت شفقت والا نہایت مہربان ہے، |

[16:8] | Waalkhayla waalbighalawaalhameera litarkabooha wazeenatanwayakhluqu ma la taAAlamoona
| والخيل والبغال والحمير لتركبوها وزينة ويخلق ما لا تعلمون
وَالْخَيْلَ وَالْبِغَالَ وَالْحَمِيرَ لِتَرْكَبُوهَا وَزِينَةً وَيَخْلُقُ مَا لاَ تَعْلَمُونَ |

| Yusuf Ali | And (He has created) horses, mules, and donkeys, for you to ride and use for show; and He has created (other) things of which ye have no knowledge.

| Words | |والخيل - And horses| والبغال - and mules| والحمير - and donkeys| لتركبوها - for you to ride them| وزينة - and (as) adornment.| ويخلق - And He creates| ما - what| لا - not| تعلمون - you know.| |
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور (اُسی نے) گھوڑوں اور خچروں اور گدھوں کو (پیدا کیا) تاکہ تم ان پر سواری کر سکو اور وہ (تمہارے لئے) باعثِ زینت بھی ہوں، اور وہ (مزید ایسی بازینت سواریوں کو بھی) پیدا فرمائے گا جنہیں تم (آج) نہیں جانتے، |

[16:9] | WaAAala Allahi qasdu alssabeeliwaminha ja-irun walaw shaa lahadakumajmaAAeena
| وعلى الله قصد السبيل ومنها جائر ولو شاء لهداكم أجمعين
وَعَلَى اللّهِ قَصْدُ السَّبِيلِ وَمِنْهَا جَآئِرٌ وَلَوْ شَاءَ لَهَدَاكُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ |

| Yusuf Ali | And unto Allah leads straight the Way, but there are ways that turn aside: if Allah had willed, He could have guided all of you.

| Words | |وعلى - And upon| الله - Allah| قصد - (is) the direction| السبيل - (of) the way,| ومنها - and among them| جائر - (are) crooked.| ولو - And if| شاء - He willed,| لهداكم - surely He would have guided you| أجمعين - all.| |

[16:10] | Huwa allathee anzala mina alssama-imaan lakum minhu sharabun waminhu shajarun feehituseemoona
| هو الذي أنزل من السماء ماء لكم منه شراب ومنه شجر فيه تسيمون
هُوَ الَّذِي أَنزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً لَّكُم مِّنْهُ شَرَابٌ وَمِنْهُ شَجَرٌ فِيهِ تُسِيمُونَ |

| Yusuf Ali | It is He who sends down rain from the sky: from it ye drink, and out of it (grows) the vegetation on which ye feed your cattle.

[16:11] | Yunbitu lakum bihi alzzarAAa waalzzaytoonawaalnnakheela waal-aAAnaba wamin kulli alththamaratiinna fee thalika laayatan liqawmin yatafakkaroona
| ينبت لكم به الزرع والزيتون والنخيل والأعناب ومن كل الثمرات إن في ذلك لآية لقوم يتفكرون
يُنبِتُ لَكُم بِهِ الزَّرْعَ وَالزَّيْتُونَ وَالنَّخِيلَ وَالْأَعْنَابَ وَمِن كُلِّ الثَّمَرَاتِ إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَةً لِّقَوْمٍ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ |

| Yusuf Ali | With it He produces for you corn, olives, date-palms, grapes and every kind of fruit: verily in this is a sign for those who give thought.

[16:12] | Wasakhkhara lakumu allayla waalnnaharawaalshshamsa waalqamara waalnnujoomumusakhkharatun bi-amrihi inna fee thalika laayatinliqawmin yaAAqiloona
| وسخر لكم الليل والنهار والشمس والقمر والنجوم مسخرات بأمره إن في ذلك لآيات لقوم يعقلون
وَسَخَّرَ لَكُمُ اللَّيْلَ وَالْنَّهَارَ وَالشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ وَالْنُّجُومُ مُسَخَّرَاتٌ بِأَمْرِهِ إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَعْقِلُونَ |

| Yusuf Ali | He has made subject to you the Night and the Day; the sun and the moon; and the stars are in subjection by His Command: verily in this are Signs for men who are wise.

[16:13] | Wama tharaa lakum fee al-ardimukhtalifan alwanuhu inna fee thalika laayatanliqawmin yaththakkaroona
| وما ذرأ لكم في الأرض مختلفا ألوانه إن في ذلك لآية لقوم يذكرون
وَمَا ذَرَأَ لَكُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ مُخْتَلِفًا أَلْوَانُهُ إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَةً لِّقَوْمٍ يَذَّكَّرُونَ |

| Yusuf Ali | And the things on this earth which He has multiplied in varying colours (and qualities): verily in this is a sign for men who celebrate the praises of Allah (in gratitude).

| Words | |وما - And whatever| ذرأ - He multiplied| لكم - for you| في - in| الأرض - the earth| مختلفا - (of) varying| ألوانه - colors.| إن - Indeed,| في - in| ذلك - that| لآية - surely (is) a sign| لقوم - for a people| يذكرون - who remember.| |

[16:14] | Wahuwa allathee sakhkhara albahralita/kuloo minhu lahman tariyyan watastakhrijoominhu hilyatan talbasoonaha watara alfulkamawakhira feehi walitabtaghoo min fadlihiwalaAAallakum tashkuroona
| وهو الذي سخر البحر لتأكلوا منه لحما طريا وتستخرجوا منه حلية تلبسونها وترى الفلك مواخر فيه ولتبتغوا من فضله ولعلكم تشكرون
وَهُوَ الَّذِي سَخَّرَ الْبَحْرَ لِتَأْكُلُواْ مِنْهُ لَحْمًا طَرِيًّا وَتَسْتَخْرِجُواْ مِنْهُ حِلْيَةً تَلْبَسُونَهَا وَتَرَى الْفُلْكَ مَوَاخِرَ فِيهِ وَلِتَبْتَغُواْ مِن فَضْلِهِ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ |

| Yusuf Ali | It is He Who has made the sea subject, that ye may eat thereof flesh that is fresh and tender, and that ye may extract therefrom ornaments to wear; and thou seest the ships therein that plough the waves, that ye may seek (thus) of the bounty of Allah and that ye may be grateful.

| Tahir ul Qadri | اور وہی ہے جس نے (فضا و بر کے علاوہ) بحر (یعنی دریاؤں اور سمندروں) کو بھی مسخر فرما دیا تاکہ تم اس میں سے تازہ (و پسندیدہ) گوشت کھاؤ اور تم اس میں سے موتی (وغیرہ) نکالو جنہیں تم زیبائش کے لئے پہنتے ہو، اور (اے انسان!) تُو کشتیوں (اور جہازوں) کو دیکھتا ہے جو (دریاؤں اور سمندروں کا) پانی چیرتے ہوئے اس میں چلے جاتے ہیں، اور (یہ سب کچھ اس لئے کیا) تاکہ تم (دور دور تک) اس کا فضل (یعنی رزق) تلاش کرو اور یہ کہ تم شکر گزار بن جاؤ، |

[16:15] | Waalqa fee al-ardi rawasiyaan tameeda bikum waanharan wasubulan laAAallakum tahtadoona
| وألقى في الأرض رواسي أن تميد بكم وأنهارا وسبلا لعلكم تهتدون
وَأَلْقَى فِي الْأَرْضِ رَوَاسِيَ أَن تَمِيدَ بِكُمْ وَأَنْهَارًا وَسُبُلاً لَّعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُونَ |

| Yusuf Ali | And He has set up on the earth mountains standing firm, lest it should shake with you; and rivers and roads; that ye may guide yourselves;

| Words | |وألقى - And He has cast| في - in| الأرض - the earth| رواسي - firm mountains,| أن - lest| تميد - it should shake| بكم - with you,| وأنهارا - and rivers| وسبلا - and roads| لعلكم - so that you may| تهتدون - be guided,| |
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور اسی نے زمین میں (مختلف مادوں کو باہم ملا کر) بھاری پہاڑ بنا دیئے تاکہ ایسا نہ ہو کہ کہیں وہ (اپنے مدار میں حرکت کرتے ہوئے) تمہیں لے کر کانپنے لگے اور نہریں اور (قدرتی) راستے (بھی) بنائے تاکہ تم (منزلوں تک پہنچنے کے لئے) راہ پا سکو، |

[16:16] | WaAAalamatin wabialnnajmihum yahtadoona
| وعلامات وبالنجم هم يهتدون
وَعَلامَاتٍ وَبِالنَّجْمِ هُمْ يَهْتَدُونَ |

| Yusuf Ali | And marks and sign-posts; and by the stars (men) guide themselves.

| Words | |وعلامات - And landmarks.| وبالنجم - And by the stars| هم - they| يهتدون - guide themselves.| |
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور (دن کو راہ تلاش کرنے کے لئے) علامتیں بنائیں، اور (رات کو) لوگ ستاروں کے ذریعہ (بھی) راہ پاتے ہیں، |

[16:17] | Afaman yakhluqu kaman la yakhluquafala tathakkaroona
| أفمن يخلق كمن لا يخلق أفلا تذكرون
أَفَمَن يَخْلُقُ كَمَن لاَّ يَخْلُقُ أَفَلا تَذَكَّرُونَ |

| Yusuf Ali | Is then He Who creates like one that creates not? Will ye not receive admonition?

| Words | |أفمن - Then is He Who| يخلق - creates| كمن - like one who| لا - (does) not| يخلق - create?| أفلا - Then will you not| تذكرون - remember?| |

[16:18] | Wa-in taAAuddoo niAAmata Allahi latuhsooha inna Allaha laghafoorun raheemun
| وإن تعدوا نعمة الله لا تحصوها إن الله لغفور رحيم
وَإِن تَعُدُّواْ نِعْمَةَ اللّهِ لاَ تُحْصُوهَا إِنَّ اللّهَ لَغَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ |

| Yusuf Ali | If ye would count up the favours of Allah, never would ye be able to number them: for Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

| Words | |وإن - And if| تعدوا - you should count| نعمة - the Favors of Allah,| الله - the Favors of Allah,| لا - not| تحصوها - you could enumerate them.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| لغفور - (is) Oft-Forgiving,| رحيم - Most Merciful.| |
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور اگر تم اللہ کی نعمتوں کو شمار کرنا چاہو تو انہیں پورا شمار نہ کر سکو گے، بیشک اللہ بڑا بخشنے والا نہایت مہربان ہے، |

[16:19] | WaAllahu yaAAlamu matusirroona wama tuAAlinoona
| والله يعلم ما تسرون وما تعلنون
وَاللّهُ يَعْلَمُ مَا تُسِرُّونَ وَمَا تُعْلِنُونَ |

| Yusuf Ali | And Allah doth know what ye conceal, and what ye reveal.
|

[16:20] | Waallatheena yadAAoona mindooni Allahi la yakhluqoona shay-an wahumyukhlaqoona
| والذين يدعون من دون الله لا يخلقون شيئا وهم يخلقون
وَالَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِ اللّهِ لاَ يَخْلُقُونَ شَيْئًا وَهُمْ يُخْلَقُونَ |

| Yusuf Ali | Those whom they invoke besides Allah create nothing and are themselves created.
|
| Words | |والذين - And those whom| يدعون - they invoke| من - besides| دون - besides| الله - Allah| لا - not| يخلقون - they create| شيئا - anything,| وهم - but (are) themselves| يخلقون - created.| |
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور یہ (مشرک) لوگ جن (بتوں) کو اللہ کے سوا پوجتے ہیں وہ کچھ بھی پیدا نہیں کر سکتے بلکہ وہ خود پیدا کئے گئے ہیں، |

[16:21] | Amwatun ghayru ahya-inwama yashAAuroona ayyana yubAAathoona
| أموات غير أحياء وما يشعرون أيان يبعثون
أَمْواتٌ غَيْرُ أَحْيَاءٍ وَمَا يَشْعُرُونَ أَيَّانَ يُبْعَثُونَ |

| Yusuf Ali | (They are things) dead, lifeless: nor do they know when they will be raised up.
|

| إلهكم إله واحد فالذين لا يؤمنون بالآخرة قلوبهم منكرة وهم مستكبرون
إِلَهُكُمْ إِلَهٌ وَاحِدٌ فَالَّذِينَ لاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالْآخِرَةِ قُلُوبُهُم مُّنكِرَةٌ وَهُم مُّسْتَكْبِرُونَ |

| Yusuf Ali | Your Allah is one Allah: as to those who believe not in the Hereafter, their hearts refuse to know, and they are arrogant.

[16:23] | La jarama anna Allaha yaAAlamuma yusirroona wama yuAAlinoona innahu la yuhibbualmustakbireena
| لا جرم أن الله يعلم ما يسرون وما يعلنون إنه لا يحب المستكبرين
لاَ جَرَمَ أَنَّ اللّهَ يَعْلَمُ مَا يُسِرُّونَ وَمَا يُعْلِنُونَ إِنَّهُ لاَ يُحِبُّ الْمُسْتَكْبِرِينَ |

| Yusuf Ali | Undoubtedly Allah doth know what they conceal, and what they reveal: verily He loveth not the arrogant.

| وإذا قيل لهم ماذا أنزل ربكم قالوا أساطير الأولين
وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُم مَّاذَا أَنزَلَ رَبُّكُمْ قَالُواْ أَسَاطِيرُ الْأَوَّلِينَ |

| Yusuf Ali | When it is said to them, "What is it that your Lord has revealed?" they say, "Tales of the ancients!"

[16:25] | Liyahmiloo awzarahum kamilatanyawma alqiyamati wamin awzari allatheena yudilloonahumbighayri AAilmin ala saa ma yaziroona
| ليحملوا أوزارهم كاملة يوم القيامة ومن أوزار الذين يضلونهم بغير علم ألا ساء ما يزرون
لِيَحْمِلُواْ أَوْزَارَهُمْ كَامِلَةً يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَمِنْ أَوْزَارِ الَّذِينَ يُضِلُّونَهُم بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ أَلاَ سَاءَ مَا يَزِرُونَ |

| Yusuf Ali | Let them bear, on the Day of Judgment, their own burdens in full, and also (something) of the burdens of those without knowledge, whom they misled. Alas, how grievous the burdens they will bear!

[16:26] | Qad makara allatheena min qablihimfaata Allahu bunyanahum mina alqawaAAidifakharra AAalayhimu alssaqfu min fawqihim waatahumualAAathabu min haythu la yashAAuroona
| قد مكر الذين من قبلهم فأتى الله بنيانهم من القواعد فخر عليهم السقف من فوقهم وأتاهم العذاب من حيث لا يشعرون
قَدْ مَكَرَ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ فَأَتَى اللّهُ بُنْيَانَهُم مِّنَ الْقَوَاعِدِ فَخَرَّ عَلَيْهِمُ السَّقْفُ مِن فَوْقِهِمْ وَأَتَاهُمُ الْعَذَابُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لاَ يَشْعُرُونَ |

| Yusuf Ali | Those before them did also plot (against Allah's Way): but Allah took their structures from their foundations, and the roof fell down on them from above; and the Wrath seized them from directions they did not perceive.

[16:27] | Thumma yawma alqiyamati yukhzeehimwayaqoolu ayna shuraka-iya allatheena kuntum tushaqqoonafeehim qala allatheena ootoo alAAilma inna alkhizyaalyawma waalssoo-a AAala alkafireena
| ثم يوم القيامة يخزيهم ويقول أين شركائي الذين كنتم تشاقون فيهم قال الذين أوتوا العلم إن الخزي اليوم والسوء على الكافرين
ثُمَّ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يُخْزِيهِمْ وَيَقُولُ أَيْنَ شُرَكَآئِيَ الَّذِينَ كُنتُمْ تُشَاقُّونَ فِيهِمْ قَالَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ الْعِلْمَ إِنَّ الْخِزْيَ الْيَوْمَ وَالْسُّوءَ عَلَى الْكَافِرِينَ |

| Yusuf Ali | Then, on the Day of Judgment, He will cover them with shame, and say: "Where are My 'partners' concerning whom ye used to dispute (with the godly)?" Those endued with knowledge will say: "This Day, indeed, are the Unbelievers covered with shame and misery,-

| Tahir ul Qadri | پھر وہ اُنہیں قیامت کے دن رسوا کرے گا اور ارشاد فرمائے گا: میرے وہ شریک کہاں ہیں جن کے حق میں تم (مومنوں سے) جھگڑا کرتے تھے؟ وہ لوگ جنہیں علم دیا گیا ہے کہیں گے: بیشک آج کافروں پر (ہر قسم کی) رسوائی اور بربادی ہے، |

[16:28] | Allatheena tatawaffahumu almala-ikatuthalimee anfusihim faalqawoo alssalamama kunna naAAmalu min soo-in bala inna AllahaAAaleemun bima kuntum taAAmaloona
| الذين تتوفاهم الملائكة ظالمي أنفسهم فألقوا السلم ما كنا نعمل من سوء بلى إن الله عليم بما كنتم تعملون
الَّذِينَ تَتَوَفَّاهُمُ الْمَلاَئِكَةُ ظَالِمِي أَنفُسِهِمْ فَأَلْقَوُاْ السَّلَمَ مَا كُنَّا نَعْمَلُ مِن سُوءٍ بَلَى إِنَّ اللّهَ عَلِيمٌ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ |

| Yusuf Ali | "(Namely) those whose lives the angels take in a state of wrong-doing to their own souls." Then would they offer submission (with the pretence), "We did no evil (knowingly)." (The angels will reply), "Nay, but verily Allah knoweth all that ye did;

| Tahir ul Qadri | جن کی روحیں فرشتے اس حال میں قبض کرتے ہیں کہ وہ اپنی جانوں پر (بدستور) ظلم کئے جا رہے ہوں، سو وہ (روزِ قیامت) اطاعت و فرمانبرداری کا اظہار کریں گے (اور کہیں گے:) ہم (دنیا میں) کوئی برائی نہیں کیا کرتے تھے، کیوں نہیں بیشک اللہ خوب جانتا ہے جو کچھ تم کیا کرتے تھے، |

[16:29] | Faodkhuloo abwaba jahannama khalideenafeeha falabi/sa mathwa almutakabbireena
| فادخلوا أبواب جهنم خالدين فيها فلبئس مثوى المتكبرين
فَادْخُلُواْ أَبْوَابَ جَهَنَّمَ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا فَلَبِئْسَ مَثْوَى الْمُتَكَبِّرِينَ |

| Yusuf Ali | "So enter the gates of Hell, to dwell therein. Thus evil indeed is the abode of the arrogant."

[16:30] | Waqeela lillatheena ittaqaw mathaanzala rabbukum qaloo khayran lillatheena ahsanoofee hathihi alddunya hasanatun waladarual-akhirati khayrun walaniAAma daru almuttaqeena
| وقيل للذين اتقوا ماذا أنزل ربكم قالوا خيرا للذين أحسنوا في هذه الدنيا حسنة ولدار الآخرة خير ولنعم دار المتقين
وَقِيلَ لِلَّذِينَ اتَّقَوْاْ مَاذَا أَنزَلَ رَبُّكُمْ قَالُواْ خَيْرًا لِّلَّذِينَ أَحْسَنُواْ فِي هَذِهِ الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةٌ وَلَدَارُ الْآخِرَةِ خَيْرٌ وَلَنِعْمَ دَارُ الْمُتَّقِينَ |

| Yusuf Ali | To the righteous (when) it is said, "What is it that your Lord has revealed?" they say, "All that is good." To those who do good, there is good in this world, and the Home of the Hereafter is even better and excellent indeed is the Home of the righteous,-
