Kalla inna al-insana layatgha كلا إن الإنسان ليطغى
كَلَّا إِنَّ الْإِنسَانَ لَيَطْغَى
Yusuf AliDay, but man doth transgress all bounds,
 Words| كلا - Nay!| إن - Indeed,| الإنسان - man| ليطغى - surely transgresses,|
Tahir ul Qadri (مگر) حقیقت یہ ہے کہ (نافرمان) انسان سر کشی کرتا ہے،
Ahmed Aliہرگز نہیں بے شک آدمی سرکش ہو جاتا ہے
Ahmed Raza Khanہاں ہاں بیشک آدمی سرکشی کرتا ہے،
Shabbir Ahmed خبردار! بے شک انسان ضرور سرکش ہو جاتا ہے۔
Fateh Muhammad Jalandharyمگر انسان سرکش ہو جاتا ہے
Mehmood Al Hassanکوئی نہیں آدمی سر چڑھتا ہے اس سے
Abul Ala Maududiہرگز نہیں، انسان سرکشی کرتا ہے
LiteralNo but that truly the human/mankind tyrannizes/exceeds the limit (E).

Arberry No indeed; surely Man waxes insolent,
ShakirNay! man is most surely inordinate,
SarwarDespite this, the human being still tends to rebel

Free MindsAlas, man is bound to transgress.
