[3:146] | vekeeyyim min nebiyyin ḳâtele me`ahû ribbiyyûne keŝîr. femâ vehenû limâ eṣâbehüm fî sebîli-llâhi vemâ ḍa`ufû veme-stekânû. vellâhü yüḥibbu-ṣṣâbirîn. |  وكأين من نبي قاتل معه ربيون كثير فما وهنوا لما أصابهم في سبيل الله وما ضعفوا وما استكانوا والله يحب الصابرين
وَكَأَيِّن مِّن نَّبِيٍّ قَاتَلَ مَعَهُ رِبِّيُّونَ كَثِيرٌ فَمَا وَهَنُواْ لِمَا أَصَابَهُمْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ وَمَا ضَعُفُواْ وَمَا اسْتَكَانُواْ وَاللّهُ يُحِبُّ الصَّابِرِينَ |

| Elmalılı | Nice peygamberler vardı ki, kendileriyle beraber birçok Allah dostları çarpıştılar; Allah yolunda başlarına gelenlerden yılgınlık göstermediler, zaafa düşmediler, boyun eğmediler.
