[6:1] | elḥamdü lillâhi-lleẕî ḫaleḳa-ssemâvâti vel'arḍa vece`ale-żżulümâti vennûr. ŝümme-lleẕîne keferû birabbihim ya`dilûn. |  الحمد لله الذي خلق السماوات والأرض وجعل الظلمات والنور ثم الذين كفروا بربهم يعدلون
الْحَمْدُ لِلّهِ الَّذِي خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضَ وَجَعَلَ الظُّلُمَاتِ وَالنُّورَ ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ بِرَبِّهِم يَعْدِلُونَ |

| Elmalılı | Hamd, gökleri ve yeri yaratan, karanlıkları ve aydınlığı var eden Allah'a mahsustur. Böyleyken kâfirler hâlâ Rablerine başkalarını eşit sayıyorlar. |
| Y. Ali | Praise be Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth, and made the darkness and the light. Yet those who reject Faith hold (others) as equal, with their Guardian-Lord.

[6:2] | hüve-lleẕî ḫaleḳaküm min ṭînin ŝümme ḳaḍâ ecelâ. veecelüm müsemmen `indehû ŝümme entüm temterûn. | هو الذي خلقكم من طين ثم قضى أجلا وأجل مسمى عنده ثم أنتم تمترون
هُوَ الَّذِي خَلَقَكُم مِّن طِينٍ ثُمَّ قَضَى أَجَلاً وَأَجَلٌ مُّسمًّى عِندَهُ ثُمَّ أَنتُمْ تَمْتَرُونَ |

| Elmalılı | Sizi çamurdan yaratan, sonra size bir ecel takdir eden O'dur. Tayin edilen bir ecel de (kıyamet zamanı) O'nun katındadır. Sonra bir de şüphe ediyorsunuz. |
| Y. Ali | He it is created you from clay, and then decreed a stated term (for you). And there is in His presence another determined term; yet ye doubt within yourselves!

[6:3] | vehüve-llâhü fi-ssemâvâti vefi-l'arḍ. ya`lemü sirraküm vecehraküm veya`lemü mâ teksibûn. | وهو الله في السماوات وفي الأرض يعلم سركم وجهركم ويعلم ما تكسبون
وَهُوَ اللّهُ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَفِي الْأَرْضِ يَعْلَمُ سِرَّكُمْ وَجَهْرَكُمْ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا تَكْسِبُونَ |

| Elmalılı | O, göklerde de, yerde de (tek) Allah'tır. Sizin gizlinizi, açığınızı ve ne kazandığınızı bilir. |
| Y. Ali | And He is Allah in the heavens and on earth. He knoweth what ye hide, and what ye reveal, and He knoweth the (recompense) which ye earn (by your deeds).

[6:4] | vemâ te'tîhim min âyetim min âyâti rabbihim illâ kânû `anhâ mü`riḍîn. | وما تأتيهم من آية من آيات ربهم إلا كانوا عنها معرضين
وَمَا تَأْتِيهِم مِّنْ آيَةٍ مِّنْ آيَاتِ رَبِّهِمْ إِلاَّ كَانُواْ عَنْهَا مُعْرِضِينَ |

| Elmalılı | Onlara Rab'lerinin âyetlerinden hiçbir âyet gelmez ki, ondan yüz çevirmesinler. |
| Y. Ali | But never did a single one of the signs of their Lord reach them, but they turned away therefrom.
|
| Words | |وما - And not| تأتيهم - comes to them| من - [of]| آية - any sign| من - from| آيات - (the) Signs| ربهم - (of) their Lord| إلا - but| كانوا - they are| عنها - from it| معرضين - turning away.| |
5.
[6:5] | feḳad keẕẕebû bilḥaḳḳi lemmâ câehüm. fesevfe ye'tîhim embâü mâ kânû bihî yestehziûn. | فقد كذبوا بالحق لما جاءهم فسوف يأتيهم أنباء ما كانوا به يستهزئون
فَقَدْ كَذَّبُواْ بِالْحَقِّ لَمَّا جَاءَهُمْ فَسَوْفَ يَأْتِيهِمْ أَنبَاءُ مَا كَانُواْ بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِؤُونَ |

| Elmalılı | Hak, kendilerine gelince onu yalanladılar. Alaya aldıkları şeyin haberi yakında kendilerine gelecektir. |
| Y. Ali | And now they reject the truth when it reaches them: but soon shall they learn the reality of what they used to mock at.

| Words | |فقد - Then indeed,| كذبوا - they denied| بالحق - the truth| لما - when| جاءهم - it came to them,| فسوف - but soon| يأتيهم - will come to them| أنباء - news| ما - (of) what| كانوا - they used to| به - [at it]| يستهزئون - mock.| |

[6:6] | elem yerav kem ehleknâ min ḳablihim min ḳarnim mekkennâhüm fi-l'arḍi mâ lem nümekkil leküm veerselne-ssemâe `aleyhim midrârâ. vece`alne-l'enhâra tecrî min taḥtihim feehleknâhüm biẕünûbihim veenşe'nâ mim ba`dihim ḳarnen âḫarîn. | ألم يروا كم أهلكنا من قبلهم من قرن مكناهم في الأرض ما لم نمكن لكم وأرسلنا السماء عليهم مدرارا وجعلنا الأنهار تجري من تحتهم فأهلكناهم بذنوبهم وأنشأنا من بعدهم قرنا آخرين
أَلَمْ يَرَوْاْ كَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا مِن قَبْلِهِم مِّن قَرْنٍ مَّكَّنَّاهُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ مَا لَمْ نُمَكِّن لَّكُمْ وَأَرْسَلْنَا السَّمَاءَ عَلَيْهِم مِّدْرَارًا وَجَعَلْنَا الْأَنْهَارَ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهِمْ فَأَهْلَكْنَاهُم بِذُنُوبِهِمْ وَأَنْشَأْنَا مِن بَعْدِهِمْ قَرْنًا آخَرِينَ |

| Elmalılı | Kendilerinden önce nice nesilleri helak ettiğimizi görmediler mi? Yeryüzünde size vermediğimiz imkanları onlara vermiştik. Onlara gökten bol bol yağmur indirmiş, altlarından ırmaklar akıtmıştık. Fakat onları günahlarından dolayı helak ettik. Ve kendilerinden sonra başka bir nesil yarattık. |
| Y. Ali | See they not how many of those before them We did destroy?- generations We had established on the earth, in strength such as We have not given to you - for whom We poured out rain from the skies in abundance, and gave (fertile) streams flowing beneath their (feet): yet for their sins We destroyed them, and raised in their wake fresh generations (to succeed them).

[6:7] | velev nezzelnâ `aleyke kitâben fî ḳirṭâsin felemesûhü bieydîhim leḳâle-lleẕîne keferû in hâẕâ illâ siḥrum mübîn. | ولو نزلنا عليك كتابا في قرطاس فلمسوه بأيديهم لقال الذين كفروا إن هذا إلا سحر مبين
وَلَوْ نَزَّلْنَا عَلَيْكَ كِتَابًا فِي قِرْطَاسٍ فَلَمَسُوهُ بِأَيْدِيهِمْ لَقَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ إِنْ هَـذَا إِلاَّ سِحْرٌ مُّبِينٌ |

| Elmalılı | Eğer sana kağıtta yazılı bir kitap indirmiş olsak da onu elleriyle tutsalardı, yine de o kâfirler: "Muhakkak ki bu, apaçık bir sihirdir" derlerdi. |
| Y. Ali | If We had sent unto thee a written (message) on parchment, so that they could touch it with their hands, the Unbelievers would have been sure to say: "This is nothing but obvious magic!"

| Words | |ولو - And (even) if| نزلنا - We (had) sent down| عليك - to you| كتابا - a written Scripture| في - in| قرطاس - a parchment| فلمسوه - and they touched it| بأيديهم - with their hands,| لقال - surely (would) have said| الذين - those who| كفروا - disbelieved,| إن - "Not| هذا - (is) this| إلا - but| سحر - magic,| مبين - clear."| |

[6:8] | veḳâlû levlâ ünzile `aleyhi melek. velev enzelnâ melekel leḳuḍiye-l'emru ŝümme lâ yünżarûn. | وقالوا لولا أنزل عليه ملك ولو أنزلنا ملكا لقضي الأمر ثم لا ينظرون
وَقَالُواْ لَوْلاَ أُنزِلَ عَلَيْهِ مَلَكٌ وَلَوْ أَنزَلْنَا مَلَكًا لَّقُضِيَ الْأَمْرُ ثُمَّ لاَ يُنظَرُونَ |

| Elmalılı | "O'na bir melek indirilmeli değil miydi?" dediler. Eğer bir melek indirseydik, iş bitirilmiş olurdu, sonra kendilerine hiç göz açtırılmazdı. |
| Y. Ali | They say: "Why is not an angel sent down to him?" If we did send down an angel, the matter would be settled at once, and no respite would be granted them.

| Words | |وقالوا - And they said,| لولا - "Why has not been| أنزل - sent down| عليه - to him| ملك - an Angel?"| ولو - And if| أنزلنا - We (had) sent down| ملكا - an Angel,| لقضي - surely (would) have been decided| الأمر - the matter| ثم - then| لا - no| ينظرون - respite would have been granted to them.| |

[6:9] | velev ce`alnâhü melekel lece`alnâhü racülev velelebesnâ `aleyhim mâ yelbisûn. | ولو جعلناه ملكا لجعلناه رجلا وللبسنا عليهم ما يلبسون
وَلَوْ جَعَلْنَاهُ مَلَكًا لَّجَعَلْنَاهُ رَجُلاً وَلَلَبَسْنَا عَلَيْهِم مَّا يَلْبِسُونَ |

| Elmalılı | Eğer Peygamberi, biz bir melek yapsaydık, yine de onu bir adam şeklinde yapardık ve onları yine düştükleri kuşkuya düşürürdük. |
| Y. Ali | If We had made it an angel, We should have sent him as a man, and We should certainly have caused them confusion in a matter which they have already covered with confusion.

| Words | |ولو - And if| جعلناه - We had made him| ملكا - an Angel,| لجعلناه - certainly We (would) have made him| رجلا - a man,| وللبسنا - and certainly We (would) have obscured| عليهم - to them| ما - what| يلبسون - they are obscuring.| |

[6:10] | veleḳadi-stühzie birusülim min ḳablike feḥâḳa billeẕîne seḫirû minhüm mâ kânû bihî yestehziûn. | ولقد استهزئ برسل من قبلك فحاق بالذين سخروا منهم ما كانوا به يستهزئون
وَلَقَدِ اسْتُهْزِئَ بِرُسُلٍ مِّن قَبْلِكَ فَحَاقَ بِالَّذِينَ سَخِرُواْ مِنْهُم مَّا كَانُواْ بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِؤُونَ |

| Elmalılı | Senden önce de peygamberlerle alay edilmişti. Fakat onlardan alay edenleri, alay ettikleri şey kuşatıverdi. |
| Y. Ali | Mocked were (many) messengers before thee; but their scoffers were hemmed in by the thing that they mocked.

| Words | |ولقد - And indeed| استهزئ - were mocked| برسل - Messengers| من - from| قبلك - before you| فحاق - but surrounded| بالذين - those who| سخروا - scoffed| منهم - of them| ما - what| كانوا - they used to| به - [at it]| يستهزئون - mock.| |

[6:11] | ḳul sîrû fi-l'arḍi ŝümme-nżurû keyfe kâne `âḳibetü-lmükeẕẕibîn. | قل سيروا في الأرض ثم انظروا كيف كان عاقبة المكذبين
قُلْ سِيرُواْ فِي الْأَرْضِ ثُمَّ انظُرُواْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الْمُكَذِّبِينَ |

| Elmalılı | De ki: "Yeryüzünde dolaşın da yalanlayanların sonu nasıl olmuş, görün!". |
| Y. Ali | Say: "Travel through the earth and see what was the end of those who rejected Truth."

| Words | |قل - Say,| سيروا - "Travel| في - in| الأرض - the earth| ثم - and| انظروا - see| كيف - how| كان - was| عاقبة - (the) end| المكذبين - (of) the rejecters."| |

[6:12] | ḳul limem mâ fi-ssemâvâti vel'arḍ. ḳul lillâh. ketebe `alâ nefsihi-rraḥmeh. leyecme`anneküm ilâ yevmi-lḳiyâmeti lâ raybe fîh. elleẕîne ḫasirû enfüsehüm fehüm lâ yü'minûn. | قل لمن ما في السماوات والأرض قل لله كتب على نفسه الرحمة ليجمعنكم إلى يوم القيامة لا ريب فيه الذين خسروا أنفسهم فهم لا يؤمنون
قُل لِّمَن مَّا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ قُل لِّلّهِ كَتَبَ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ الرَّحْمَةَ لَيَجْمَعَنَّكُمْ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ لاَ رَيْبَ فِيهِ الَّذِينَ خَسِرُواْ أَنفُسَهُمْ فَهُمْ لاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ |

| Elmalılı | De ki: "Göklerde ve yerde olanlar kimindir?" "Allah'ındır" de. O, rahmet etmeyi kendi nefsine yazmıştır. Sizi, varlığında asla şüphe olmayan kıyamet gününde toplayacaktır. Ama kendilerini zarara sokanlar inanmazlar. |
| Y. Ali | Say: "To whom belongeth all that is in the heavens and on earth?" Say: "To Allah. He hath inscribed for Himself (the rule of) Mercy. That He will gather you together for the Day of Judgment, there is no doubt whatever. It is they who have lost their own souls, that will not believe.

[6:13] | velehû mâ sekene fi-lleyli vennehâr. vehüve-ssemî`u-l`alîm. | وله ما سكن في الليل والنهار وهو السميع العليم
وَلَهُ مَا سَكَنَ فِي اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ |

| Elmalılı | Gecede, gündüzde barınan her şey O'nundur. O, işitendir, bilendir. |
| Y. Ali | To him belongeth all that dwelleth (or lurketh) in the night and the day. For he is the one who heareth and knoweth all things."

| Words | |وله - And for Him| ما - (is) whatever| سكن - dwells| في - in| الليل - the night| والنهار - and the day,| وهو - and He| السميع - (is) All-Hearing,| العليم - All-Knowing.| |

[6:14] | ḳul egayra-llâhi etteḫiẕü veliyyen fâṭiri-ssemâvâti vel'arḍi vehüve yuṭ`imü velâ yuṭ`am. ḳul innî ümirtü en ekûne evvele men esleme velâ tekûnenne mine-lmüşrikîn. | قل أغير الله أتخذ وليا فاطر السماوات والأرض وهو يطعم ولا يطعم قل إني أمرت أن أكون أول من أسلم ولا تكونن من المشركين
قُلْ أَغَيْرَ اللّهِ أَتَّخِذُ وَلِيًّا فَاطِرِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَهُوَ يُطْعِمُ وَلاَ يُطْعَمُ قُلْ إِنِّي أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَكُونَ أَوَّلَ مَنْ أَسْلَمَ وَلاَ تَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكَينَ |

| Elmalılı | De ki: "Gökleri ve yeri yoktan var eden, besleyen, fakat kendisi beslenmeyen Allah'tan başka dost mu tutayım?" "Ben İslâm olanların ilki olmakla emrolundum" de ve sakın Allah'a ortak koşanlardan olma. |
| Y. Ali | Say: "Shall I take for my protector any other than Allah, the Maker of the heavens and the earth? And He it is that feedeth but is not fed." Say: "Nay! but I am commanded to be the first of those who bow to Allah (in Islam), and be not thou of the company of those who join gods with Allah."

[6:15] | ḳul innî eḫâfü in `aṣaytü rabbî `aẕâbe yevmin `ażîm. | قل إني أخاف إن عصيت ربي عذاب يوم عظيم
قُلْ إِنِّي أَخَافُ إِنْ عَصَيْتُ رَبِّي عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍ |

| Elmalılı | De ki: "Eğer Rabbime isyan edersem, büyük bir günün azabından korkarım". |
| Y. Ali | Say: "I would, if I disobeyed my Lord, indeed have fear of the penalty of a Mighty Day.
|
| Words | |قل - Say,| إني - "Indeed, I| أخاف - [I] fear| إن - if| عصيت - I disobeyed| ربي - my Lord,| عذاب - punishment| يوم - (of) a Day,| عظيم - Mighty."| |
16.
[6:16] | mey yuṣraf `anhü yevmeiẕin feḳad raḥimeh. veẕâlike-lfevzü-lmübîn. | من يصرف عنه يومئذ فقد رحمه وذلك الفوز المبين
مَّن يُصْرَفْ عَنْهُ يَوْمَئِذٍ فَقَدْ رَحِمَهُ وَذَلِكَ الْفَوْزُ الْمُبِينُ |

| Elmalılı | O gün kimden azab giderilirse, kuşkusuz Allah ona rahmet etmiştir. İşte apaçık kurtuluş budur. |
| Y. Ali | "On that day, if the penalty is averted from any, it is due to Allah's mercy; And that would be (Salvation), the obvious fulfilment of all desire.

| Words | |من - Whoever| يصرف - is averted| عنه - from it| يومئذ - that Day| فقد - then surely| رحمه - He had Mercy on him.| وذلك - And that| الفوز - (is) the success| المبين - (the) clear.| |
17.
[6:17] | veiy yemseske-llâhü biḍurrin felâ kâşife lehû illâ hû. veiy yemseske biḫayrin fehüve `alâ külli şey'in ḳadîr. | وإن يمسسك الله بضر فلا كاشف له إلا هو وإن يمسسك بخير فهو على كل شيء قدير
وَإِن يَمْسَسْكَ اللّهُ بِضُرٍّ فَلاَ كَاشِفَ لَهُ إِلاَّ هُوَ وَإِن يَمْسَسْكَ بِخَيْرٍ فَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ |

| Elmalılı | Allah sana bir zarar dokundurursa, onu yine kendisinden başka açacak yoktur. Ve eğer sana bir hayır dokundursa, kuşkusuz O, herşeyi yapabilendir. |
| Y. Ali | "If Allah touch thee with affliction, none can remove it but He; if He touch thee with happiness, He hath power over all things.

| Words | |وإن - And if| يمسسك - touches you| الله - Allah| بضر - with affliction| فلا - then no| كاشف - remover| له - of it| إلا - except| هو - Him.| وإن - And if| يمسسك - He touches you| بخير - with good,| فهو - then He| على - (is) on| كل - every| شيء - thing| قدير - All-Powerful.| |
18.
[6:18] | vehüve-lḳâhiru fevḳa `ibâdih. vehüve-lḥakîmü-lḫabîr. | وهو القاهر فوق عباده وهو الحكيم الخبير
وَهُوَ الْقَاهِرُ فَوْقَ عِبَادِهِ وَهُوَ الْحَكِيمُ الْخَبِيرُ |

| Elmalılı | O, kullarının üstünde tam hâkimdir. O, hüküm ve hikmet sahibidir, herşeyden haberdardır. |
| Y. Ali | "He is the irresistible, (watching) from above over His worshippers; and He is the Wise, acquainted with all things."

| Words | |وهو - And He| القاهر - (is) the Subjugator| فوق - over| عباده - His slaves.| وهو - And He| الحكيم - (is) the All-Wise,| الخبير - the All-Aware.| |

[6:19] | ḳul eyyü şey'in ekberu şehâdeten. ḳuli-llâhü şehîdüm beynî vebeyneküm veûḥiye ileyye hâẕe-lḳur'ânü liünẕiraküm bihî vemem belag. einneküm leteşhedûne enne me`a-llâhi âliheten uḫrâ. ḳul lâ eşhed. ḳul innemâ hüve ilâhüv vâḥidüv veinnenî berîüm mimmâ tüşrikûn. | قل أي شيء أكبر شهادة قل الله شهيد بيني وبينكم وأوحي إلي هذا القرآن لأنذركم به ومن بلغ أئنكم لتشهدون أن مع الله آلهة أخرى قل لا أشهد قل إنما هو إله واحد وإنني بريء مما تشركون
قُلْ أَيُّ شَيْءٍ أَكْبَرُ شَهَادَةً قُلِ اللّهُ شَهِيدٌ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَكُمْ وَأُوحِيَ إِلَيَّ هَذَا الْقُرْآنُ لِأُنذِرَكُم بِهِ وَمَن بَلَغَ أَئِنَّكُمْ لَتَشْهَدُونَ أَنَّ مَعَ اللّهِ آلِهَةً أُخْرَى قُل لاَّ أَشْهَدُ قُلْ إِنَّمَا هُوَ إِلَـهٌ وَاحِدٌ وَإِنَّنِي بَرِيءٌ مِّمَّا تُشْرِكُونَ |

| Elmalılı | De ki: "Şahitlik yönünden hangi şey daha büyüktür?". De ki: "Allah, benimle sizin aranızda şahittir ve bana bu Kur'ân vahyolundu ki, onunla hem sizi, hem de sizden sonra kendisine ulaşan herkesi uyarayım. Allah'la beraber başka ilâhlar olduğuna siz gerçekten şahitlik eder misiniz?" De ki: "Ben buna şahitlik etmem". "O, ancak ve ancak bir tek ilâhtır ve gerçekten ben, sizin ortak tuttuğunuz şeylerden uzağım"de. |
| Y. Ali | Say: "What thing is most weighty in evidence?" Say: "Allah is witness between me and you; This Qur'an hath been revealed to me by inspiration, that I may warn you and all whom it reaches. Can ye possibly bear witness that besides Allah there is another Allah?" Say: "Nay! I cannot bear witness!" Say: "But in truth He is the one Allah, and I truly am innocent of (your blasphemy of) joining others with Him."

[6:20] | elleẕîne âteynâhümü-lkitâbe ya`rifûnehû kemâ ya`rifûne ebnâehüm. elleẕîne ḫasirû enfüsehüm fehüm lâ yü'minûn. | الذين آتيناهم الكتاب يعرفونه كما يعرفون أبناءهم الذين خسروا أنفسهم فهم لا يؤمنون
الَّذِينَ آتَيْنَاهُمُ الْكِتَابَ يَعْرِفُونَهُ كَمَا يَعْرِفُونَ أَبْنَاءَهُمُ الَّذِينَ خَسِرُواْ أَنفُسَهُمْ فَهُمْ لاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ |

| Elmalılı | Kendilerine Kitap verdiğimiz kimseler, Peygamber'i, kendi oğullarını bildikleri gibi, bilirler. Kendilerine yazık edenler var ya! İşte onlar iman etmezler. |
| Y. Ali | Those to whom We have given the Book know this as they know their own sons. Those who have lost their own souls refuse therefore to believe.

[6:21] | vemen ażlemü mimmeni-fterâ `ale-llâhi keẕiben ev keẕẕebe biâyâtih. innehû lâ yüfliḥu-żżâlimûn. | ومن أظلم ممن افترى على الله كذبا أو كذب بآياته إنه لا يفلح الظالمون
وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّنِ افْتَرَى عَلَى اللّهِ كَذِبًا أَوْ كَذَّبَ بِآيَاتِهِ إِنَّهُ لاَ يُفْلِحُ الظَّالِمُونَ |

| Elmalılı | Allah'a iftira ederek yalan uydurandan veya âyetlerini yalanlayandan daha zalim kim olabilir? Hiç şüphe yok ki zalimler kurtuluşa eremezler. |
| Y. Ali | Who doth more wrong than he who inventeth a lie against Allah or rejecteth His signs? But verily the wrong-doers never shall prosper.

22.
[6:22] | veyevme naḥşüruhüm cemî`an ŝümme neḳûlü lilleẕîne eşrakû eyne şürakâükümü-lleẕîne küntüm tez`umûn. | ويوم نحشرهم جميعا ثم نقول للذين أشركوا أين شركاؤكم الذين كنتم تزعمون
وَيَوْمَ نَحْشُرُهُمْ جَمِيعًا ثُمَّ نَقُولُ لِلَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُواْ أَيْنَ شُرَكَآؤُكُمُ الَّذِينَ كُنتُمْ تَزْعُمُونَ |

| Elmalılı | O gün hepsini mahşere toplayacağız. Sonra Allah'a ortak koşanlara: " Hani nerede o Allah'a ortak saydığınız ortaklarınız?" diyeceğiz. |
| Y. Ali | One day shall We gather them all together: We shall say to those who ascribed partners (to Us): "Where are the partners whom ye (invented and) talked about?"

| Words | |ويوم - And (the) Day| نحشرهم - We will gather them| جميعا - all,| ثم - then| نقول - We will say| للذين - to those who| أشركوا - associated others with Allah,| أين - "Where (are)| شركاؤكم - your partners,| الذين - those whom| كنتم - you used to| تزعمون - claim?"| |
23.
[6:23] | ŝümme lem tekün fitnetühüm illâ en ḳâlû vellâhi rabbinâ mâ künnâ müşrikîn. | ثم لم تكن فتنتهم إلا أن قالوا والله ربنا ما كنا مشركين
ثُمَّ لَمْ تَكُن فِتْنَتُهُمْ إِلاَّ أَن قَالُواْ وَاللّهِ رَبِّنَا مَا كُنَّا مُشْرِكِينَ |

| Elmalılı | Sonra, (Onlar): "Rabbimiz, Allah'a yemin ederiz ki, biz müşriklerden değildik" demekten başka bir özür bulamayacaklar. |
| Y. Ali | There will then be (left) no subterfuge for them but to say: "By Allah our Lord, we were not those who joined gods with Allah."

[6:24] | ünżur keyfe keẕebû `alâ enfüsihim veḍalle `anhüm mâ kânû yefterûn. | انظر كيف كذبوا على أنفسهم وضل عنهم ما كانوا يفترون
انظُرْ كَيْفَ كَذَبُواْ عَلَى أَنفُسِهِمْ وَضَلَّ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُواْ يَفْتَرُونَ |

| Elmalılı | Bak, vicdanlarına karşı nasıl yalan söylediler! O uydurdukları putlar da kendilerinden kaybolup gitti. |
| Y. Ali | Behold! how they lie against their own souls! But the (lie) which they invented will leave them in the lurch.

25.
[6:25] | veminhüm mey yestemi`u ileyk. vece`alnâ `alâ ḳulûbihim ekinneten ey yefḳahûhü vefî âẕânihim vaḳrâ. veiy yerav külle âyetil lâ yü'minû bihâ. ḥattâ iẕâ câûke yücâdilûneke yeḳûlü-lleẕîne keferû in hâẕâ illâ esâṭîru-l'evvelîn. | ومنهم من يستمع إليك وجعلنا على قلوبهم أكنة أن يفقهوه وفي آذانهم وقرا وإن يروا كل آية لا يؤمنوا بها حتى إذا جاءوك يجادلونك يقول الذين كفروا إن هذا إلا أساطير الأولين
وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَسْتَمِعُ إِلَيْكَ وَجَعَلْنَا عَلَى قُلُوبِهِمْ أَكِنَّةً أَن يَفْقَهُوهُ وَفِي آذَانِهِمْ وَقْرًا وَإِن يَرَوْاْ كُلَّ آيَةٍ لاَّ يُؤْمِنُواْ بِهَا حَتَّى إِذَا جَآؤُوكَ يُجَادِلُونَكَ يَقُولُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ إِنْ هَذَآ إِلاَّ أَسَاطِيرُ الْأَوَّلِينَ |

| Elmalılı | İçlerinden seni dinleyenler de vardır, fakat biz, onu anlamalarına engel olmak için kalblerinin üstüne örtüler, kulaklarının içine de ağırlık koyduk. Onlar, bütün delilleri görseler bile yine ona inanmazlar. Hatta sana geldiklerinde seninle tartışırlar. Ve o kâfirler: "Bu, öncekilerin masallarından başka bir şey değildir" derler. |

Ali | Of them there are some who (pretend to) listen to thee; but We have thrown veils on their hearts, So they understand it not, and deafness in their ears; if they saw every one of the signs, not they will believe in them; in so much that when they come to thee, they (but) dispute with thee; the Unbelievers say: "These are nothing but tales of the ancients."

26.
[6:26] | vehüm yenhevne `anhü veyen'evne `anh. veiy yühlikûne illâ enfüsehüm vemâ yeş`urûn. | وهم ينهون عنه وينأون عنه وإن يهلكون إلا أنفسهم وما يشعرون
وَهُمْ يَنْهَوْنَ عَنْهُ وَيَنْأَوْنَ عَنْهُ وَإِن يُهْلِكُونَ إِلاَّ أَنفُسَهُمْ وَمَا يَشْعُرُونَ |

| Elmalılı | Onlar, insanları Kur'ân'a iman etmekten menederler, hem de kendileri ondan uzak dururlar. Böylece yalnız kendilerini mahvediyorlar ama farkında değiller. |
| Y. Ali | Others they keep away from it, and themselves they keep away; but they only destroy their own souls, and they perceive it not.

[6:27] | velev terâ iẕ vuḳifû `ale-nnâri feḳâlû yâ leytenâ nüraddü velâ nükeẕẕibe biâyâti rabbinâ venekûne mine-lmü'minîn. | ولو ترى إذ وقفوا على النار فقالوا يا ليتنا نرد ولا نكذب بآيات ربنا ونكون من المؤمنين
وَلَوْ تَرَى إِذْ وُقِفُواْ عَلَى النَّارِ فَقَالُواْ يَا لَيْتَنَا نُرَدُّ وَلاَ نُكَذِّبَ بِآيَاتِ رَبِّنَا وَنَكُونَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ |

| Elmalılı | Onların, ateşin üzerinde durduruldukları zaman: "Ne olurdu dünyaya döndürülseydik, Rabb'imizin âyetlerini yalanlamasaydık da müminlerden olsaydık" dediklerini bir görsen! |
| Y. Ali | If thou couldst but see when they are confronted with the Fire! They will say: "Would that we were but sent back! Then would we not reject the signs of our Lord, but would be amongst those who believe!"

| Words | |ولو - And if| ترى - you (could) see| إذ - when| وقفوا - they are made to stand| على - by| النار - the Fire| فقالوا - then they (will) say,| يا - O| ليتنا - "Oh! Would that we| نرد - were sent back| ولا - and not| نكذب - we would deny| بآيات - (the) Signs| ربنا - (of) our Lord| ونكون - and we would be| من - among| المؤمنين - the believers."| |
28.
[6:28] | bel bedâ lehüm mâ kânû yuḫfûne min ḳabl. velev ruddû le`âdû limâ nühû `anhü veinnehüm lekâẕibûn. | بل بدا لهم ما كانوا يخفون من قبل ولو ردوا لعادوا لما نهوا عنه وإنهم لكاذبون
بَلْ بَدَا لَهُم مَّا كَانُواْ يُخْفُونَ مِن قَبْلُ وَلَوْ رُدُّواْ لَعَادُواْ لِمَا نُهُواْ عَنْهُ وَإِنَّهُمْ لَكَاذِبُونَ |

| Elmalılı | Hayır, daha önce gizleyip durdukları karşılarına çıktı da ondan, yoksa geri çevrilselerdi yine menedildikleri şeyi yapmaya dönerlerdi. Çünkü onlar yalancıdırlar. |
| Y. Ali | Yea, in their own (eyes) will become manifest what before they concealed. But if they were returned, they would certainly relapse to the things they were forbidden, for they are indeed liars.

[6:29] | veḳâlû in hiye illâ ḥayâtüne-ddünyâ vemâ naḥnü bimeb`ûŝîn. | وقالوا إن هي إلا حياتنا الدنيا وما نحن بمبعوثين
وَقَالُواْ إِنْ هِيَ إِلاَّ حَيَاتُنَا الدُّنْيَا وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمَبْعُوثِينَ |

| Elmalılı | Dediler ki: " Dünya hayatımızdan başka bir hayat yoktur, biz diriltilecek değiliz". |
| Y. Ali | And they (sometimes) say: "There is nothing except our life on this earth, and never shall we be raised up again."

| Words | |وقالوا - And they said,| إن - "Not| هي - it (is)| إلا - except| حياتنا - our life| الدنيا - (of) the world| وما - and not| نحن - we| بمبعوثين - (will be) resurrected."| |
30.
[6:30] | velev terâ iẕ vuḳifû `alâ rabbihim. ḳâle eleyse hâẕâ bilḥaḳḳ. ḳâlû belâ verabbinâ. ḳâle feẕûḳu-l`aẕâbe bimâ küntüm tekfürûn. | ولو ترى إذ وقفوا على ربهم قال أليس هذا بالحق قالوا بلى وربنا قال فذوقوا العذاب بما كنتم تكفرون
وَلَوْ تَرَى إِذْ وُقِفُواْ عَلَى رَبِّهِمْ قَالَ أَلَيْسَ هَذَا بِالْحَقِّ قَالُواْ بَلَى وَرَبِّنَا قَالَ فَذُوقُواْ العَذَابَ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَكْفُرُونَ |

| Elmalılı | Rablerinin huzurunda durduruldukları zaman onları bir görsen! Rableri onlara şöyle der: "Bu, bir gerçek değil midir?". Onlar da: "Rabbimize yemin ederiz ki gerçektir" derler. Rableri de onlara: "Öyleyse inkârınız sebebiyle azabı tadın!" der. |
| Y. Ali | If thou couldst but see when they are confronted with their Lord! He will say: "Is not this the truth?" They will say: "Yea, by our Lord!" He will say: "Taste ye then the penalty, because ye rejected Faith."
