[59:1] | sebbeḥa lillâhi mâ fi-ssemâvâti vemâ fi-l'arḍ. vehüve-l`azîzü-lḥakîm. |  سبح لله ما في السماوات وما في الأرض وهو العزيز الحكيم
سَبَّحَ لِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ |

| Elmalılı | Göklerde ve yerde olanların hepsi Allah'ı tesbih etmektedir, O üstündür, hikmet sahibidir. |
| Y. Ali | Whatever is in the heavens and on earth, let it declare the Praises and Glory of Allah: for He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.

[59:2] | hüve-lleẕî aḫrace-lleẕîne keferû min ehli-lkitâbi min diyârihim lievveli-lḥaşr. mâ żanentüm ey yaḫrucû veżannû ennehüm mâni`atühüm ḥuṣûnühüm mine-llâhi feetâhümü-llâhü min ḥayŝü lem yaḥtesibû veḳaẕefe fî ḳulûbihimü-rru`be yuḫribûne büyûtehüm bieydîhim veeydi-lmü'minîne fa`tebirû yâ ûli-l'ebṣâr. | هو الذي أخرج الذين كفروا من أهل الكتاب من ديارهم لأول الحشر ما ظننتم أن يخرجوا وظنوا أنهم مانعتهم حصونهم من الله فأتاهم الله من حيث لم يحتسبوا وقذف في قلوبهم الرعب يخربون بيوتهم بأيديهم وأيدي المؤمنين فاعتبروا يا أولي الأبصار
هُوَ الَّذِي أَخْرَجَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ مِن دِيَارِهِمْ لِأَوَّلِ الْحَشْرِ مَا ظَنَنتُمْ أَن يَخْرُجُوا وَظَنُّوا أَنَّهُم مَّانِعَتُهُمْ حُصُونُهُم مِّنَ اللَّهِ فَأَتَاهُمُ اللَّهُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَمْ يَحْتَسِبُوا وَقَذَفَ فِي قُلُوبِهِمُ الرُّعْبَ يُخْرِبُونَ بُيُوتَهُم بِأَيْدِيهِمْ وَأَيْدِي الْمُؤْمِنِينَ فَاعْتَبِرُوا يَا أُولِي الْأَبْصَارِ |

| Elmalılı | Ehli kitaptan inkar edenleri, ilk sürgünleri yurtlarından çıkaran O'dur. Siz onların çıkacaklarını sanmamıştınız. Onlar da kalelerinin, kendilerini Allah'tan koruyacağını sanmışlardı. Ama Allah'ın azabı, onlara beklemedikleri yerden geliverdi. O, yüreklerine korku düşürdü; öyle ki evlerini hem kendi elleriyle, hem de müminlerin elleriyle harap ediyorlardı. Ey akıl sahipleri! İbret alın. |
| Y. Ali | It is He Who got out the Unbelievers among the People of the Book from their homes at the first gathering (of the forces). Little did ye think that they would get out: And they thought that their fortresses would defend them from Allah! But the (Wrath of) Allah came to them from quarters from which they little expected (it), and cast terror into their hearts, so that they destroyed their dwellings by their own hands and the hands of the Believers, take warning, then, O ye with eyes (to see)!

[59:3] | velevlâ en ketebe-llâhü `aleyhimü-lcelâe le`aẕẕebehüm fi-ddünyâ. velehüm fi-l'âḫirati `aẕâbü-nnâr. | ولولا أن كتب الله عليهم الجلاء لعذبهم في الدنيا ولهم في الآخرة عذاب النار
وَلَوْلَا أَن كَتَبَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمُ الْجَلَاءَ لَعَذَّبَهُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَلَهُمْ فِي الْآخِرَةِ عَذَابُ النَّارِ |

| Elmalılı | Eğer Allah onlara sürgünü yazmamış olsaydı, elbette, onları dünyada başka şekilde cezalandıracaktı. Ahirette de onlar için ateş azabı vardır. |
| Y. Ali | And had it not been that Allah had decreed banishment for them, He would certainly have punished them in this world: And in the Hereafter they shall (certainly) have the Punishment of the Fire.

[59:4] | ẕâlike biennehüm şâḳḳu-llâhe verasûleh. vemey yüşâḳḳi-llâhe feinne-llâhe şedîdü-l`iḳâb. | ذلك بأنهم شاقوا الله ورسوله ومن يشاق الله فإن الله شديد العقاب
ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ شَاقُّوا اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ وَمَن يُشَاقِّ اللَّهَ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ شَدِيدُ الْعِقَابِ |

| Elmalılı | Bunun sebebi şudur: Onlar Allah'a ve Resulüne karşı geldiler; Kim Allah'a karşı gelirse Allah'ın azabı şiddetlidir. |
| Y. Ali | That is because they resisted Allah and His Messenger: and if any one resists Allah, verily Allah is severe in Punishment.

[59:5] | mâ ḳata`tüm mil lînetin ev teraktümûhâ ḳâimeten `alâ üṣûlihâ febiiẕni-llâhi veliyuḫziye-lfâsiḳîn. | ما قطعتم من لينة أو تركتموها قائمة على أصولها فبإذن الله وليخزي الفاسقين
مَا قَطَعْتُم مِّن لِّينَةٍ أَوْ تَرَكْتُمُوهَا قَائِمَةً عَلَى أُصُولِهَا فَبِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ وَلِيُخْزِيَ الْفَاسِقِينَ |

| Elmalılı | Hurma ağaçlarından her hangi bir şey kesmeniz veya kökleri üzerinde bırakmanız hep Allah'ın izniyle ve O'nun, yoldan çıkanları cezalandırması içindir. |
| Y. Ali | Whether ye cut down (O ye Muslim!) The tender palm-trees, or ye left them standing on their roots, it was by leave of Allah, and in order that He might cover with shame the rebellious transgresses.

[59:6] | vemâ efâe-llâhü `alâ rasûlihî minhüm femâ evceftüm `aleyhi min ḫayliv velâ rikâbiv velâkinne-llâhe yüselliṭu rusülehû `alâ mey yeşâ'. vellâhü `alâ külli şey'in ḳadîr. | وما أفاء الله على رسوله منهم فما أوجفتم عليه من خيل ولا ركاب ولكن الله يسلط رسله على من يشاء والله على كل شيء قدير
وَمَا أَفَاءَ اللَّهُ عَلَى رَسُولِهِ مِنْهُمْ فَمَا أَوْجَفْتُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ خَيْلٍ وَلَا رِكَابٍ وَلَكِنَّ اللَّهَ يُسَلِّطُ رُسُلَهُ عَلَى مَن يَشَاءُ وَاللَّهُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ |

| Elmalılı | Allah'ın, onlardan peygamberine verdiği ganimetlere gelince siz onun üzerine ne at, ne de deve sürmediniz. Fakat Allah peygamberini, dilediği kimselerin üzerine salar. Allah her şeye kadirdir. |
| Y. Ali | What Allah has bestowed on His Messenger (and taken away) from them - for this ye made no expedition with either cavalry or camelry: but Allah gives power to His messengers over any He pleases: and Allah has power over all things.

[59:7] | mâ efâe-llâhü `alâ rasûlihî min ehli-lḳurâ felillâhi velirrasûli veliẕi-lḳurbâ velyetâmâ velmesâkîni vebni-ssebîli key lâ yekûne dûletem beyne-l'agniyâi minküm. vemâ âtâkümü-rrasûlü feḫuẕûhü vemâ nehâküm `anhü fentehû. vetteḳu-llâh. inne-llâhe şedîdü-l`iḳâb. | ما أفاء الله على رسوله من أهل القرى فلله وللرسول ولذي القربى واليتامى والمساكين وابن السبيل كي لا يكون دولة بين الأغنياء منكم وما آتاكم الرسول فخذوه وما نهاكم عنه فانتهوا واتقوا الله إن الله شديد العقاب
مَّا أَفَاءَ اللَّهُ عَلَى رَسُولِهِ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْقُرَى فَلِلَّهِ وَلِلرَّسُولِ وَلِذِي الْقُرْبَى وَالْيَتَامَى وَالْمَسَاكِينِ وَابْنِ السَّبِيلِ كَيْ لَا يَكُونَ دُولَةً بَيْنَ الْأَغْنِيَاءِ مِنكُمْ وَمَا آتَاكُمُ الرَّسُولُ فَخُذُوهُ وَمَا نَهَاكُمْ عَنْهُ فَانتَهُوا وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ شَدِيدُ الْعِقَابِ |

| Elmalılı | Allah'ın o kent halkından, Resulüne verdiği ganimetler, Allah'a, Resul'e, ona akrabalığı bulunanlara, yetimlere, yoksullara, yolcuya aittir. Ta ki içinizden yalnız zenginler arasında dolaşan bir şey olmasın. Peygamber size ne verdiyse onu alın. Sizeneyi yasakladıysa ondan sakının ve Allah'tan korkun. Çünkü Allah'ın azabı şiddetlidir. |
| Y. Ali | What Allah has bestowed on His Messenger (and taken away) from the people of the townships,- belongs to Allah,- to His Messenger and to kindred and orphans, the needy and the wayfarer; In order that it may not (merely) make a circuit between the wealthy among you. So take what the Messenger assigns to you, and deny yourselves that which he withholds from you. And fear Allah; for Allah is strict in Punishment.

[59:8] | lilfüḳarâi-lmühâcirîne-lleẕîne uḫricû min diyârihim veemvâlihim yebtegûne faḍlem mine-llâhi veriḍvânev veyenṣurûne-llâhe verasûleh. ülâike hümu-ṣṣâdiḳûn. | للفقراء المهاجرين الذين أخرجوا من ديارهم وأموالهم يبتغون فضلا من الله ورضوانا وينصرون الله ورسوله أولئك هم الصادقون
لِلْفُقَرَاءِ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ الَّذِينَ أُخْرِجُوا مِن دِيَارِهِمْ وَأَمْوَالِهِمْ يَبْتَغُونَ فَضْلًا مِّنَ اللَّهِ وَرِضْوَانًا وَيَنصُرُونَ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ أُوْلَئِكَ هُمُ الصَّادِقُونَ |

| Elmalılı | Bir de göç eden fakirlere aittir ki yurtlarından ve mallarından çıkarılmışlardır, Allah'ın lütuf ve rızasını ararlar; Allah'a ve Resulüne yardım ederler. İşte doğru olanlar onlardır. |
| Y. Ali | (Some part is due) to the indigent Muhajirs, those who were expelled from their homes and their property, while seeking Grace from Allah and (His) Good Pleasure, and aiding Allah and His Messenger: such are indeed the sincere ones:-

[59:9] | velleẕîne tebevveü-ddâra vel'îmâne min ḳablihim yüḥibbûne men hâcera ileyhim velâ yecidûne fî ṣudûrihim ḥâcetem mimmâ ûtû veyü'ŝirûne `alâ enfüsihim velev kâne bihim ḫaṣâṣah. vemey yûḳa şüḥḥa nefsihî feülâike hümü-lmüfliḥûn. | والذين تبوءوا الدار والإيمان من قبلهم يحبون من هاجر إليهم ولا يجدون في صدورهم حاجة مما أوتوا ويؤثرون على أنفسهم ولو كان بهم خصاصة ومن يوق شح نفسه فأولئك هم المفلحون
وَالَّذِينَ تَبَوَّؤُوا الدَّارَ وَالْإِيْمَانَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ يُحِبُّونَ مَنْ هَاجَرَ إِلَيْهِمْ وَلَا يَجِدُونَ فِي صُدُورِهِمْ حَاجَةً مِّمَّا أُوتُوا وَيُؤْثِرُونَ عَلَى أَنفُسِهِمْ وَلَوْ كَانَ بِهِمْ خَصَاصَةٌ وَمَن يُوقَ شُحَّ نَفْسِهِ فَأُوْلَئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ |

| Elmalılı | Ve onlardan önce o yurda yerleşen imana sarılanlar kendilerine göç edip gelenleri severler ve onlara verilenlerden ötürü göğüslerinde bir ihtiyaç duymazlar. Kendilerinin ihtiyaçları olsa dahi, onları öz canlarına tercih ederler. Kim nefsinin cimriliğinden korunursa, işte onlar umduklarına erenlerdir. |
| Y. Ali | But those who before them, had homes (in Medina) and had adopted the Faith,- show their affection to such as came to them for refuge, and entertain no desire in their hearts for things given to the (latter), but give them preference over themselves, even though poverty was their (own lot). And those saved from the covetousness of their own souls,- they are the ones that achieve prosperity.

10.
[59:10] | velleẕîne câû mim ba`dihim yeḳûlûne rabbene-gfir lenâ veliiḫvânine-lleẕîne sebeḳûnâ bil'îmâni velâ tec`al fî ḳulûbinâ gillel lilleẕîne âmenû rabbenâ inneke raûfür raḥîm. | والذين جاءوا من بعدهم يقولون ربنا اغفر لنا ولإخواننا الذين سبقونا بالإيمان ولا تجعل في قلوبنا غلا للذين آمنوا ربنا إنك رءوف رحيم
وَالَّذِينَ جَاؤُوا مِن بَعْدِهِمْ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لَنَا وَلِإِخْوَانِنَا الَّذِينَ سَبَقُونَا بِالْإِيْمَانِ وَلَا تَجْعَلْ فِي قُلُوبِنَا غِلًّا لِّلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ رَؤُوفٌ رَّحِيمٌ |

| Elmalılı | Onlardan sonra gelenler derler ki: "Rabbimiz, bizi ve bizden önce inanan kardeşlerimizi bağışla, kalplerimizde inananlara karşı bir kin bırakma! Rabbimiz! Sen çok şefkatli, çok merhametlisin!" |
| Y. Ali | And those who came after them say: "Our Lord! Forgive us, and our brethren who came before us into the Faith, and leave not, in our hearts, rancour (or sense of injury) against those who have believed. Our Lord! Thou art indeed Full of Kindness, Most Merciful."

[59:11] | elem tera ile-lleẕîne nâfeḳû yeḳûlûne liiḫvânihimü-lleẕîne keferû min ehli-lkitâbi lein uḫrictüm lenaḫrucenne me`aküm velâ nüṭî`u fîküm eḥaden ebedev vein ḳûtiltüm lenenṣuranneküm. vellâhü yeşhedü innehüm lekâẕibûn. | ألم تر إلى الذين نافقوا يقولون لإخوانهم الذين كفروا من أهل الكتاب لئن أخرجتم لنخرجن معكم ولا نطيع فيكم أحدا أبدا وإن قوتلتم لننصرنكم والله يشهد إنهم لكاذبون
أَلَمْ تَر إِلَى الَّذِينَ نَافَقُوا يَقُولُونَ لِإِخْوَانِهِمُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ لَئِنْ أُخْرِجْتُمْ لَنَخْرُجَنَّ مَعَكُمْ وَلَا نُطِيعُ فِيكُمْ أَحَدًا أَبَدًا وَإِن قُوتِلْتُمْ لَنَنصُرَنَّكُمْ وَاللَّهُ يَشْهَدُ إِنَّهُمْ لَكَاذِبُونَ |

| Elmalılı | Münafıkların, kitap ehlinden inkar eden dostlarına "Eğer siz yurdunuzdan çıkarılırsanız, mutlaka biz de sizinle beraber çıkarız sizin aleyhinizde kimseye asla uymayız. Eğer savaşa tutuşursanız, mutlaka yardım ederiz." dediklerini görmedin mi? Allah, onların yalancı olduklarına şahitlik eder. |
| Y. Ali | Hast thou not observed the Hypocrites say to their misbelieving brethren among the People of the Book? - "If ye are expelled, we too will go out with you, and we will never hearken to any one in your affair; and if ye are attacked (in fight) we will help you". But Allah is witness that they are indeed liars.

[59:12] | lein uḫricû lâ yaḫrucûne me`ahüm. velein ḳûtilû lâ yenṣurûnehüm. velein neṣarûhüm leyüvellünne-l'edbâr. ŝümme lâ yünṣarûn. | لئن أخرجوا لا يخرجون معهم ولئن قوتلوا لا ينصرونهم ولئن نصروهم ليولن الأدبار ثم لا ينصرون
لَئِنْ أُخْرِجُوا لَا يَخْرُجُونَ مَعَهُمْ وَلَئِن قُوتِلُوا لَا يَنصُرُونَهُمْ وَلَئِن نَّصَرُوهُمْ لَيُوَلُّنَّ الْأَدْبَارَ ثُمَّ لَا يُنصَرُونَ |

| Elmalılı | Andolsun eğer onlar, çıkarılırsalar, onlarla beraber çıkmazlar; savaşa tutuşmuş olsalar, onlara yardım etmezler; yardım etseler bile arkalarını dönüp kaçarlar, sonra kendilerine de yardım edilmez. |
| Y. Ali | If they are expelled, never will they go out with them; and if they are attacked (in fight), they will never help them; and if they do help them, they will turn their backs; so they will receive no help.

[59:13] | leentüm eşeddü rahbeten fî ṣudûrihim mine-llâh. ẕâlike biennehüm ḳavmül lâ yefḳahûn. | لأنتم أشد رهبة في صدورهم من الله ذلك بأنهم قوم لا يفقهون
لَأَنتُمْ أَشَدُّ رَهْبَةً فِي صُدُورِهِم مِّنَ اللَّهِ ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ قَوْمٌ لَّا يَفْقَهُونَ |

| Y. Ali | Of a truth ye are stronger (than they) because of the terror in their hearts, (sent) by Allah. This is because they are men devoid of understanding.

[59:14] | lâ yüḳâtilûneküm cemî`an illâ fî ḳuram müḥaṣṣanetin ev miv verâi cüdür. be'sühüm beynehüm şedîd. taḥsebühüm cemî`av veḳulûbühüm şettâ. ẕâlike biennehüm ḳavmül lâ ya`ḳilûn. | لا يقاتلونكم جميعا إلا في قرى محصنة أو من وراء جدر بأسهم بينهم شديد تحسبهم جميعا وقلوبهم شتى ذلك بأنهم قوم لا يعقلون
لَا يُقَاتِلُونَكُمْ جَمِيعًا إِلَّا فِي قُرًى مُّحَصَّنَةٍ أَوْ مِن وَرَاءِ جُدُرٍ بَأْسُهُمْ بَيْنَهُمْ شَدِيدٌ تَحْسَبُهُمْ جَمِيعًا وَقُلُوبُهُمْ شَتَّى ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ قَوْمٌ لَّا يَعْقِلُونَ |

| Elmalılı | Onlar toplu olarak sizinle savaşamazlar, ancak, müstahkem şehirlerde yahut duvarların ardından (sizinle savaşmak isterler). Kendi aralarındaki çekişmeleri şiddetlidir. Sen onları toplu sanırsın, oysa onların kalbleri dağınıktır. Böyledir, çünkü onlar aklını kullanmayan bir topluluktur. |
| Y. Ali | They will not fight you (even) together, except in fortified townships, or from behind walls. Strong is their fighting (spirit) amongst themselves: thou wouldst think they were united, but their hearts are divided: that is because they are a people devoid of wisdom.

[59:15] | kemeŝeli-lleẕîne min ḳablihim ḳarîben ẕâḳû vebâle emrihim. velehüm `aẕâbün elîm. | كمثل الذين من قبلهم قريبا ذاقوا وبال أمرهم ولهم عذاب أليم
كَمَثَلِ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ قَرِيبًا ذَاقُوا وَبَالَ أَمْرِهِمْ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ |

| Elmalılı | (Bu yahudilerin durumu) kendilerinden az önce, işlerinin günahını tatmış olan, ahirette de kendileri için acı bir azab bulunan kimselerin (Bedir'de cezalarını bulan putperestlerin) durumu gibidir. |
| Y. Ali | Like those who lately preceded them, they have tasted the evil result of their conduct; and (in the Hereafter there is) for them a grievous Penalty;-

كَمَثَلِ الشَّيْطَانِ إِذْ قَالَ لِلْإِنسَانِ اكْفُرْ فَلَمَّا كَفَرَ قَالَ إِنِّي بَرِيءٌ مِّنكَ إِنِّي أَخَافُ اللَّهَ رَبَّ الْعَالَمِينَ |

| Elmalılı | (Yahudileri kandıran münafıkların durumu da) tıpkı şeytanın durumuna benzer ki insana "İnkâr et." dedi, (insan) inkar edince de: "Ben senden uzağım, ben âlemlerin Rabb'i Allah'tan korkarım!" dedi. |
| Y. Ali | (Their allies deceived them), like the Evil One, when he says to man, "Deny Allah": but when (man) denies Allah, (the Evil One) says, "I am free of thee: I do fear Allah, the Lord of the Worlds!"

[59:17] | fekâne `âḳibetehümâ ennehümâ fi-nnâri ḫâlideyni fîhâ. veẕâlike cezâu-żżâlimîn. | فكان عاقبتهما أنهما في النار خالدين فيها وذلك جزاء الظالمين
فَكَانَ عَاقِبَتَهُمَا أَنَّهُمَا فِي النَّارِ خَالِدَيْنِ فِيهَا وَذَلِكَ جَزَاءُ الظَّالِمِينَ |

| Elmalılı | Nihayet ikisinin sonu, ebedi olarak ateşte oldu. Zalimlerin cezası budur. |
| Y. Ali | The end of both will be that they will go into the Fire, dwelling therein for ever. Such is the reward of the wrong-doers.

[59:18] | yâ eyyühe-lleẕîne âmenü-tteḳu-llâhe veltenżur nefsüm mâ ḳaddemet ligad. vetteḳu-llâh. inne-llâhe ḫabîrum bimâ ta`melûn. | يا أيها الذين آمنوا اتقوا الله ولتنظر نفس ما قدمت لغد واتقوا الله إن الله خبير بما تعملون
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَلْتَنظُرْ نَفْسٌ مَّا قَدَّمَتْ لِغَدٍ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ خَبِيرٌ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ |

| Elmalılı | Ey inananlar, Allah'tan korkun ve kişi, yarın için ne (yapıp) gönderdiğine baksın. Allah'tan korkun; çünkü Allah, yaptıklarınızdan haberdardır. |
| Y. Ali | O ye who believe! Fear Allah, and let every soul look to what (provision) He has sent forth for the morrow. Yea, fear Allah: for Allah is well-acquainted with (all) that ye do.

وَلَا تَكُونُوا كَالَّذِينَ نَسُوا اللَّهَ فَأَنسَاهُمْ أَنفُسَهُمْ أُوْلَئِكَ هُمُ الْفَاسِقُونَ |

| Elmalılı | Allah'ı unutup da Allah'ın da kendilerini unutturduğu kimseler gibi olmayın onlar, yoldan çıkan kimselerdir. |
| Y. Ali | And be ye not like those who forgot Allah; and He made them forget their own souls! Such are the rebellious transgressors!

لَا يَسْتَوِي أَصْحَابُ النَّارِ وَأَصْحَابُ الْجَنَّةِ أَصْحَابُ الْجَنَّةِ هُمُ الْفَائِزُونَ |

| Elmalılı | Cehennem ehli ile cennet ehli bir olmaz. Cennet ehli kurtularak isteklerine erişenlerdir. |
| Y. Ali | Not equal are the Companions of the Fire and the Companions of the Garden: it is the Companions of the Garden, that will achieve Felicity.

لَوْ أَنزَلْنَا هَذَا الْقُرْآنَ عَلَى جَبَلٍ لَّرَأَيْتَهُ خَاشِعًا مُّتَصَدِّعًا مِّنْ خَشْيَةِ اللَّهِ وَتِلْكَ الْأَمْثَالُ نَضْرِبُهَا لِلنَّاسِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ |

| Elmalılı | Biz bu Kur'ân'ı bir dağa indirseydik, Allah'ın korkusundan onu baş eğmiş, parça, parça olmuş görürdün. Bu misalleri düşünsünler diye insanlara veriyoruz. |
| Y. Ali | Had We sent down this Qur'an on a mountain, verily, thou wouldst have seen it humble itself and cleave asunder for fear of Allah. Such are the similitudes which We propound to men, that they may reflect.

هُوَ اللَّهُ الَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ عَالِمُ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ هُوَ الرَّحْمَنُ الرَّحِيمُ |

هُوَ اللَّهُ الَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْمَلِكُ الْقُدُّوسُ السَّلَامُ الْمُؤْمِنُ الْمُهَيْمِنُ الْعَزِيزُ الْجَبَّارُ الْمُتَكَبِّرُ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ |

| Elmalılı | O, öyle bir Allah'tır ki, kendisinden başka hiçbir tanrı yoktur. O, mâlik ve sahiptir, münezzehtir, selâmet verendir, emniyete kavuşturandır, gözetip koruyandır, üstündür, istediğini zorla yaptıran, büyüklükte eşi olmayandır. Allah puta tapanların ortak koştukları şeylerden münezzehtir. |
| Y. Ali | Allah is He, than Whom there is no other god;- the Sovereign, the Holy One, the Source of Peace (and Perfection), the Guardian of Faith, the Preserver of Safety, the Exalted in Might, the Irresistible, the Supreme: Glory to Allah! (High is He) above the partners they attribute to Him.

هُوَ اللَّهُ الْخَالِقُ الْبَارِئُ الْمُصَوِّرُ لَهُ الْأَسْمَاءُ الْحُسْنَى يُسَبِّحُ لَهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ |

| Elmalılı | O, yaratan, var eden, varlıklara şekil veren Allah'tır. En güzel isimler O'nundur. Göklerde ve yerde olanlar O'nun şânını yüceltmektedirler. O, gâlib olan, her şeyi hikmeti uyarınca yapandır. |
| Y. Ali | He is Allah, the Creator, the Evolver, the Bestower of Forms (or Colours). To Him belong the Most Beautiful Names: whatever is in the heavens and on earth, doth declare His Praises and Glory: and He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.
