[7:70] | ḳâlû eci'tenâ lina`büde-llâhe vaḥdehû veneẕera mâ kâne ya`büdü âbâünâ. fe'tinâ bimâ te`idünâ in künte mine-ṣṣâdiḳîn. |  قالوا أجئتنا لنعبد الله وحده ونذر ما كان يعبد آباؤنا فأتنا بما تعدنا إن كنت من الصادقين
قَالُواْ أَجِئْتَنَا لِنَعْبُدَ اللّهَ وَحْدَهُ وَنَذَرَ مَا كَانَ يَعْبُدُ آبَاؤُنَا فَأْتِنَا بِمَا تَعِدُنَا إِن كُنتَ مِنَ الصَّادِقِينَ |

| Elmalılı | Dediler ki: "Ya, demek sen tek Allah'a kulluk edelim ve atalarımızın taptıklarını bırakalım diye mi (bize) geldin? Eğer doğrulardan isen bizi tehdit ettiğin (o azabı) bize getir!" |
