Allah'a karşı, kendileri bilip dururken, yalan söylerler. | Y. Ali | There is among them a section who distort the Book with their tongues: (As they read) you would think it is a part of the Book, but it is no part of the Book; and they say, "That is from Allah," but it is not from Allah: It is they who tell a lie against Allah, and (well) they know it!
| Words | | وإن - And indeed,| منهم - among them| لفريقا - surely (is) a group -| يلوون - they distort| ألسنتهم - their tongues| بالكتاب - in (reciting) the Book| لتحسبوه - so that you may think it| من - (is) from| الكتاب - the Book| وما - and not| هو - it| من - (is) from| الكتاب - the Book.| ويقولون - And they say,| هو - "It| من - (is)| عند - from| الله - Allah."| وما - But not| هو - it| من - (is)| عند - from| الله - Allah.| ويقولون - And they say| على - about| الله - Allah| الكذب - the lie| وهم - while they| يعلمون - know.| | Pickthal | And lo! there is a party of them who distort the Scripture with their tongues, that ye may think that what they say is from the Scripture, when it is not from the Scripture. And they say: It is from Allah, when it is not from Allah; and they speak a lie concerning Allah knowingly. | Arberry | And there is a sect of them twist their tongues with the Book, that you may suppose it part of the Book, yet it is not part of the Book; and they say, 'It is from God,' yet it is not from God, and they speak falsehood against God, and that wittingly. | Shakir | Most surely there is a party amongst those who distort the Book with their tongue that you may consider it to be (a part) of the Book, and they say, It is from Allah, while it is not from Allah, and they tell a lie against Allah whilst they know. | Free Minds | And from amongst them is a group that twist their tongues with the Scripture so that you may think it is from the Scripture, while it is not from the Scripture, and they say it is from God while it is not from God, and they say about God lies while they know. | Qaribullah | And there is a sect among them who twist their tongues with the Book, so you will think it is from the Book, whereas it is not from the Book. They say: 'This is from Allah, ' whereas it is not from Allah. And they knowingly tell lies against Allah. | Asad | And, behold, there are indeed some among them who distort the Bible with their tongues, so as to make you think that [what they say] is from the Bible, the while it is not from the Bible; and who say, "This is from God," the while it is not from God: and thus do they tell a lie about God, being well aware [that it is a lie]. | Diyanet Vakfı | Ehl-i kitaptan bir gurup, okuduklarını kitaptan sanasınız diye kitabı okurken dillerini eğip bükerler. Onlar bile bile Allah'a iftira ediyorlar. | Diyanet | Onlardan bir takımı, Kitapta olmadığı halde Kitaptan zannedesiniz diye dillerini eğip bükerler.
