[10:15] | veiẕâ tütlâ `aleyhim âyâtünâ beyyinâtin ḳâle-lleẕîne lâ yercûne liḳâene-'ti biḳur'ânin gayri hâẕâ ev beddilh. ḳul mâ yekûnü lî en übeddilehû min tilḳâi nefsî. in ettebi`u illâ mâ yûḥâ ileyy. innî eḫâfü in `aṣaytü rabbî `aẕâbe yevmin `ażîm. |  وإذا تتلى عليهم آياتنا بينات قال الذين لا يرجون لقاءنا ائت بقرآن غير هذا أو بدله قل ما يكون لي أن أبدله من تلقاء نفسي إن أتبع إلا ما يوحى إلي إني أخاف إن عصيت ربي عذاب يوم عظيم
وَإِذَا تُتْلَى عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتُنَا بَيِّنَاتٍ قَالَ الَّذِينَ لاَ يَرْجُونَ لِقَاءَنَا ائْتِ بِقُرْآنٍ غَيْرِ هَـذَا أَوْ بَدِّلْهُ قُلْ مَا يَكُونُ لِي أَنْ أُبَدِّلَهُ مِن تِلْقَاءِ نَفْسِي إِنْ أَتَّبِعُ إِلاَّ مَا يُوحَى إِلَيَّ إِنِّي أَخَافُ إِنْ عَصَيْتُ رَبِّي عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍ |

| Elmalılı | Böyle iken, âyetlerimiz, kesin birer belge olarak kendilerine okunduğu zaman, o bizimle karşılaşmayı ummayanlar, "Bundan başka bir Kur'ân getir veya bunu değiştir." dediler. De ki, "Onu kendiliğimden değiştiremem, benim açımdan bu olacak bir şey değildir. Ben ancak bana vahyolunana uyarım. Rabbime isyan edersem, şüphesiz büyük bir günün azabından korkarım." | | Y. Ali | But when Our Clear Signs are rehearsed unto them, those who rest not their hope on their meeting with Us, Say: "Bring us a reading other than this, or change this," Say: "It is not for me, of my own accord, to change it: I follow naught but what is revealed unto me: if I were to disobey my Lord, I should myself fear the penalty of a Great Day (to come)."
