| 1. [6:3] | Wahuwa Allahu fee alssamawatiwafee al-ardi yaAAlamu sirrakum wajahrakum wayaAAlamu mataksiboona |  وهو الله في السماوات وفي الأرض يعلم سركم وجهركم ويعلم ما تكسبونوَهُوَ اللّهُ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَفِي الْأَرْضِ يَعْلَمُ سِرَّكُمْ وَجَهْرَكُمْ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا تَكْسِبُونَ | |||||

| Yousuf Ali | And He is Allah in the heavens and on earth. He knoweth what ye hide, and what ye reveal, and He knoweth the (recompense) which ye earn (by your deeds). | ||||||

[7:39] | Waqalat oolahum li-okhrahumfama kana lakum AAalayna min fadlinfathooqoo alAAathaba bima kuntum taksiboona | وقالت أولاهم لأخراهم فما كان لكم علينا من فضل فذوقوا العذاب بما كنتم تكسبون وَقَالَتْ أُولاَهُمْ لِأُخْرَاهُمْ فَمَا كَانَ لَكُمْ عَلَيْنَا مِن فَضْلٍ فَذُوقُواْ الْعَذَابَ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَكْسِبُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور ان کے اگلے اپنے پچھلوں سے کہیں گے: سو تمہیں ہم پر کچھ فضیلت نہ ہوئی پس (اب) تم (بھی) عذاب (کا مزہ) چکھو اس کے سبب جو کچھ تم کماتے تھے، | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Then the first will say to the last: "See then! No advantage have ye over us; so taste ye of the penalty for all that ye did !" | ||||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | پھر (ان) ظالموں سے کہا جائے گا: تم دائمی عذاب کا مزہ چکھو، تمہیں (کچھ بھی اور) بدلہ نہیں دیا جائے گا، مگر انہی اعمال کا جو تم کماتے رہے تھے، | ||||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | بھلا وہ شخص جو قیامت کے دن (آگ کے) برے عذاب کو اپنے چہرے سے روک رہا ہوگا (کیونکہ اس کے دونوں ہاتھ بندھے ہونگے، اس کا کیا حال ہوگا؟) اور ایسے ظالموں سے کہا جائے گا: اُن بداعمالیوں کا مزہ چکھو جو تم انجام دیا کرتے تھے، | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Is, then, one who has to fear the brunt of the Penalty on the Day of Judgment (and receive it) on his face, (like one guarded therefrom)? It will be said to the wrong-doers: "Taste ye (the fruits of) what ye earned!" | ||||||
