[3:181] | leḳad semi`a-llâhü ḳavle-lleẕîne ḳâlû inne-llâhe feḳîruv venaḥnü agniyâ'. senektübü mâ ḳâlû veḳatlehümü-l'embiyâe bigayri ḥaḳḳiv veneḳûlü ẕûḳû `aẕâbe-lḥarîḳ. |  لقد سمع الله قول الذين قالوا إن الله فقير ونحن أغنياء سنكتب ما قالوا وقتلهم الأنبياء بغير حق ونقول ذوقوا عذاب الحريق
لَّقَدْ سَمِعَ اللّهُ قَوْلَ الَّذِينَ قَالُواْ إِنَّ اللّهَ فَقِيرٌ وَنَحْنُ أَغْنِيَاءُ سَنَكْتُبُ مَا قَالُواْ وَقَتْلَهُمُ الأَنبِيَاءَ بِغَيْرِ حَقٍّ وَنَقُولُ ذُوقُواْ عَذَابَ الْحَرِيقِ |

| Elmalılı | Allah, "Şüphesiz Allah fakirdir, biz zenginiz." diyenlerin lafını elbette duymuştur. Onların söylediklerini ve peygamberleri haksız yere öldürmelerini yazacağız ve şöyle diyeceğiz: "Tadın o yakıcı azabı!". |
| Y. Ali | Allah hath heard the taunt of those who say: "Truly, Allah is indigent and we are rich!"- We shall certainly record their word and (their act) of slaying the prophets in defiance of right, and We shall say: "Taste ye the penalty of the Scorching Fire!

[3:182] | ẕâlike bimâ ḳaddemet eydîküm veenne-llâhe leyse biżallâmil lil`abîd. | ذلك بما قدمت أيديكم وأن الله ليس بظلام للعبيد
ذَلِكَ بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ أَيْدِيكُمْ وَأَنَّ اللّهَ لَيْسَ بِظَلاَّمٍ لِّلْعَبِيدِ |

| Elmalılı | "Bu, kendi ellerinizin yapıp öne sürdüğünün karşılığıdır". Allah kullar(ın)a asla zulmetmez. |
| Y. Ali | "This is because of the (unrighteous deeds) which your hands sent on before ye: For Allah never harms those who serve Him."

[3:183] | elleẕîne ḳâlû inne-llâhe `ahide ileynâ ellâ nü'mine lirasûlin ḥattâ ye'tiyenâ biḳurbânin te'külühü-nnâr. ḳul ḳad câeküm rusülüm min ḳablî bilbeyyinâti vebilleẕî ḳultüm felime ḳateltümûhüm in küntüm ṣâdiḳîn. | الذين قالوا إن الله عهد إلينا ألا نؤمن لرسول حتى يأتينا بقربان تأكله النار قل قد جاءكم رسل من قبلي بالبينات وبالذي قلتم فلم قتلتموهم إن كنتم صادقين
الَّذِينَ قَالُواْ إِنَّ اللّهَ عَهِدَ إِلَيْنَا أَلاَّ نُؤْمِنَ لِرَسُولٍ حَتَّى يَأْتِيَنَا بِقُرْبَانٍ تَأْكُلُهُ النَّارُ قُلْ قَدْ جَاءَكُمْ رُسُلٌ مِّن قَبْلِي بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ وَبِالَّذِي قُلْتُمْ فَلِمَ قَتَلْتُمُوهُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ |

| Elmalılı | "Ateşin yiyeceği bir kurban getirmedikçe hiç bir peygambere iman etmeyeceğimize dair Allah bize ahidde bulundu." diyenlere de ki: "Benden önce size bazı peygamberler açık belgelerle ve sizin dediğiniz şeyle geldi. Eğer doğru insanlarsanız, ya onlarıniçin öldürdünüz?" |
| Y. Ali | They (also) said: "Allah took our promise not to believe in an messenger unless He showed us a sacrifice consumed by Fire (From heaven)." Say: "There came to you messengers before me, with clear Signs and even with what ye ask for: why then did ye slay them, if ye speak the truth?"

[3:184] | fein keẕẕebûke feḳad küẕẕibe rusülüm min ḳablike câû bilbeyyinâti vezzübüri velkitâbi-lmünîr. | فإن كذبوك فقد كذب رسل من قبلك جاءوا بالبينات والزبر والكتاب المنير
فَإِن كَذَّبُوكَ فَقَدْ كُذِّبَ رُسُلٌ مِّن قَبْلِكَ جَآؤُوا بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ وَالزُّبُرِ وَالْكِتَابِ الْمُنِيرِ |

| Elmalılı | Eğer seni yalanladılarsa, senden önce açık deliller, hikmetli sayfalar ve aydınlatıcı kitap getiren peygamberler de yalanlanmıştı. |
| Y. Ali | Then if they reject thee, so were rejected messengers before thee, who came with Clear Signs, Books of dark prophecies, and the Book of Enlightenment.

[3:185] | küllü nefsin ẕâiḳatü-lmevt. veinnemâ tüveffevne ücûraküm yevme-lḳiyâmeh. femen zuḥziḥa `ani-nnâri veüdḫile-lcennete feḳad fâz. veme-lḥayâtü-ddünyâ illâ metâ`u-lgurûr. | كل نفس ذائقة الموت وإنما توفون أجوركم يوم القيامة فمن زحزح عن النار وأدخل الجنة فقد فاز وما الحياة الدنيا إلا متاع الغرور
كُلُّ نَفْسٍ ذَآئِقَةُ الْمَوْتِ وَإِنَّمَا تُوَفَّوْنَ أُجُورَكُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فَمَن زُحْزِحَ عَنِ النَّارِ وَأُدْخِلَ الْجَنَّةَ فَقَدْ فَازَ وَما الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا إِلاَّ مَتَاعُ الْغُرُورِ |

| Elmalılı | Her canlı ölümü tadacaktır. Kıyamet günü ecirleriniz size eksiksiz olarak verilecektir. Kim cehennemden uzaklaştırılıp cennete konursa o, gerçekten kurtuluşa ermiştir. Dünya hayatı, aldatıcı zevkten başka birşey değildir. |
| Y. Ali | Every soul shall have a taste of death: And only on the Day of Judgment shall you be paid your full recompense. Only he who is saved far from the Fire and admitted to the Garden will have attained the object (of Life): For the life of this world is but goods and chattels of deception.

[3:186] | letüblevunne fî emvâliküm veenfüsiküm veletesme`unne mine-lleẕîne ûtü-lkitâbe min ḳabliküm vemine-lleẕîne eşrakû eẕen keŝîrâ. vein taṣbirû vetetteḳû feinne ẕâlike min `azmi-l'ümûr. | لتبلون في أموالكم وأنفسكم ولتسمعن من الذين أوتوا الكتاب من قبلكم ومن الذين أشركوا أذى كثيرا وإن تصبروا وتتقوا فإن ذلك من عزم الأمور
لَتُبْلَوُنَّ فِي أَمْوَالِكُمْ وَأَنفُسِكُمْ وَلَتَسْمَعُنَّ مِنَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ الْكِتَابَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ وَمِنَ الَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُواْ أَذًى كَثِيرًا وَإِن تَصْبِرُواْ وَتَتَّقُواْ فَإِنَّ ذَلِكَ مِنْ عَزْمِ الْأُمُورِ |

| Elmalılı | Muhakkak siz, mallarınız ve canlarınız hususunda imtihan olunacaksınız. Sizden önce kendilerine kitap verilenlerden ve Allah'a ortak koşanlardan size eziyet verici bir çok söz işiteceksiniz. Eğer sabreder ve Allah'dan gereği gibi korkarsanız, şüphesiz işte bu azmi gerektiren işlerdendir. |
| Y. Ali | Ye shall certainly be tried and tested in your possessions and in your personal selves; and ye shall certainly Hear much that will grieve you, from those who received the Book before you and from those who worship many gods. But if ye persevere patiently, and guard against evil,-then that will be a determining factor in all affairs.

[3:187] | veiẕ eḫaẕe-llâhü mîŝâḳa-lleẕîne ûtü-lkitâbe letübeyyinünnehû linnâsi velâ tektümûneh. fenebeẕûhü verâe żuhûrihim veşterav bihî ŝemenen ḳalîlâ. febi'se mâ yeşterûn. | وإذ أخذ الله ميثاق الذين أوتوا الكتاب لتبيننه للناس ولا تكتمونه فنبذوه وراء ظهورهم واشتروا به ثمنا قليلا فبئس ما يشترون
وَإِذْ أَخَذَ اللّهُ مِيثَاقَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ الْكِتَابَ لَتُبَيِّنُنَّهُ لِلنَّاسِ وَلاَ تَكْتُمُونَهُ فَنَبَذُوهُ وَرَاءَ ظُهُورِهِمْ وَاشْتَرَوْاْ بِهِ ثَمَناً قَلِيلاً فَبِئْسَ مَا يَشْتَرُونَ |

| Elmalılı | Bir zaman Allah, kendilerine kitap verilenlerden, "Onu mutlaka insanlara açıklayacaksınız, onu gizlemiyeceksiniz." diye söz almıştı. Onlar ise bunu kulak ardı ettiler ve onu az bir dünyalığa değiştiler. Yaptıkları bu alışveriş ne kadar kötüdür. |
| Y. Ali | And remember Allah took a covenant from the People of the Book, to make it known and clear to mankind, and not to hide it; but they threw it away behind their backs, and purchased with it some miserable gain! And vile was the bargain they made!

[3:188] | lâ taḥsebenne-lleẕîne yefraḥûne bimâ etev veyüḥibbûne ey yuḥmedû bimâ lem yef`alû felâ taḥsebennehüm bimefâzetim mine-l`aẕâb. velehüm `aẕâbün elîm. | لا تحسبن الذين يفرحون بما أتوا ويحبون أن يحمدوا بما لم يفعلوا فلا تحسبنهم بمفازة من العذاب ولهم عذاب أليم
لاَ تَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِينَ يَفْرَحُونَ بِمَا أَتَواْ وَّيُحِبُّونَ أَن يُحْمَدُواْ بِمَا لَمْ يَفْعَلُواْ فَلاَ تَحْسَبَنَّهُمْ بِمَفَازَةٍ مِّنَ الْعَذَابِ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ |

| Elmalılı | O yaptıklarına sevinen ve yapmadıkları şeylerle de övülmek isteyenlerin (onacaklarını) sanma! Onların azaptan kurtulacaklarını da sanma! Onlar için can yakıcı bir azap vardır. |
| Y. Ali | Think not that those who exult in what they have brought about, and love to be praised for what they have not done,- think escape the penalty. For them is a penalty Grievous indeed.

[3:189] | velillâhi mülkü-ssemâvâti vel'arḍ. vellâhü `alâ külli şey'in ḳadîr. | ولله ملك السماوات والأرض والله على كل شيء قدير
وَلِلّهِ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَاللّهُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ |

| Y. Ali | To Allah belongeth the dominion of the heavens and the earth; and Allah hath power over all things.

إِنَّ فِي خَلْقِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَاخْتِلاَفِ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ لَآيَاتٍ لِّأُوْلِي الْأَلْبَابِ |

| Elmalılı | Göklerin ve yerin yaratılışında, gece ile gündüzün birbiri ardınca gelip gidişinde selim akıl sahipleri için gerçekten açık, ibretli deliller vardır. |
| Y. Ali | Behold! in the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the alternation of night and day,- there are indeed Signs for men of understanding,-

[3:191] | elleẕîne yeẕkürûne-llâhe ḳiyâmev veḳu`ûdev ve`alâ cünûbihim veyetefekkerûne fî ḫalḳi-ssemâvâti vel'arḍ. rabbenâ mâ ḫalaḳte hâẕâ bâṭilâ. sübḥâneke feḳinâ `aẕâbe-nnâr. | الذين يذكرون الله قياما وقعودا وعلى جنوبهم ويتفكرون في خلق السماوات والأرض ربنا ما خلقت هذا باطلا سبحانك فقنا عذاب النار
الَّذِينَ يَذْكُرُونَ اللّهَ قِيَامًا وَقُعُودًا وَعَلَى جُنُوبِهِمْ وَيَتَفَكَّرُونَ فِي خَلْقِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ رَبَّنَا مَا خَلَقْتَ هَذَا بَاطِلاً سُبْحَانَكَ فَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ |

| Elmalılı | Onlar ayaktayken, otururken ve yanları üzerine yatarken Allah'ı anarlar; göklerin ve yerin yaratılışı üzerinde düşünürler. Ve "Rabbimiz! Sen bunu boş yere yaratmadın, Sen yücesin, bizi ateşin azabından koru." derler. |

Ali | Men who celebrate the praises of Allah, standing, sitting, and lying down on their sides, and contemplate the (wonders of) creation in the heavens and the earth, (With the thought): "Our Lord! not for naught Hast Thou created (all) this! Glory to Thee! Give us salvation from the penalty of the Fire.

[3:192] | rabbenâ inneke men tüdḫili-nnâra feḳad aḫzeyteh. vemâ liżżâlimîne min enṣâr. | ربنا إنك من تدخل النار فقد أخزيته وما للظالمين من أنصار
رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ مَن تُدْخِلِ النَّارَ فَقَدْ أَخْزَيْتَهُ وَمَا لِلظَّالِمِينَ مِنْ أَنصَارٍ |

| Elmalılı | "Rabbimiz! Sen kimi cehennem ateşine sokarsan onu rezil etmişsindir. Zalimlerin hiç yardımcıları yoktur". |
| Y. Ali | "Our Lord! any whom Thou dost admit to the Fire, Truly Thou coverest with shame, and never will wrong-doers Find any helpers!

[3:193] | rabbenâ innenâ semi`nâ münâdiyey yünâdî lil'îmâni en âminû birabbiküm feâmennâ. rabbenâ fagfir lenâ ẕünûbenâ vekeffir `annâ seyyiâtinâ veteveffenâ me`a-l'ebrâr. | ربنا إننا سمعنا مناديا ينادي للإيمان أن آمنوا بربكم فآمنا ربنا فاغفر لنا ذنوبنا وكفر عنا سيئاتنا وتوفنا مع الأبرار
رَّبَّنَا إِنَّنَا سَمِعْنَا مُنَادِيًا يُنَادِي لِلْإِيمَانِ أَنْ آمِنُواْ بِرَبِّكُمْ فَآمَنَّا رَبَّنَا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَكَفِّرْ عَنَّا سَيِّئَاتِنَا وَتَوَفَّنَا مَعَ الْأَبْرَارِ |

| Elmalılı | "Rabbimiz! Biz, 'Rabbinize iman edin' diye imana çağıran bir davetçi işittik, hemen iman ettik. Rabbimiz! Günahlarımızı bağışla, kötülüklerimizi ört, bizleri sana ermiş kullarınla beraber yanına al". |
| Y. Ali | "Our Lord! we have heard the call of one calling (Us) to Faith, 'Believe ye in the Lord,' and we have believed. Our Lord! Forgive us our sins, blot out from us our iniquities, and take to Thyself our souls in the company of the righteous.

[3:194] | rabbenâ veâtinâ mâ ve`attenâ `alâ rusülike velâ tuḫzinâ yevme-lḳiyâmeh. inneke lâ tuḫlifü-lmî`âd. | ربنا وآتنا ما وعدتنا على رسلك ولا تخزنا يوم القيامة إنك لا تخلف الميعاد
رَبَّنَا وَآتِنَا مَا وَعَدتَّنَا عَلَى رُسُلِكَ وَلاَ تُخْزِنَا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ إِنَّكَ لاَ تُخْلِفُ الْمِيعَادَ |

[3:195] | festecâbe lehüm rabbühüm ennî lâ üḍî`u `amele `âmilim minküm min ẕekerin ev ünŝâ. ba`ḍuküm mim ba`ḍ. felleẕîne hâcerû veuḫricû min diyârihim veûẕû fî sebîlî veḳâtelû veḳutilû leükeffiranne `anhüm seyyiâtihim veleüdḫilennehüm cennâtin tecrî min taḥtihe-l'enhâr. ŝevâbem min `indi-llâh. vellâhü `indehû ḥusnü-ŝŝevâb. | فاستجاب لهم ربهم أني لا أضيع عمل عامل منكم من ذكر أو أنثى بعضكم من بعض فالذين هاجروا وأخرجوا من ديارهم وأوذوا في سبيلي وقاتلوا وقتلوا لأكفرن عنهم سيئاتهم ولأدخلنهم جنات تجري من تحتها الأنهار ثوابا من عند الله والله عنده حسن الثواب
فَاسْتَجَابَ لَهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ أَنِّي لاَ أُضِيعُ عَمَلَ عَامِلٍ مِّنكُم مِّن ذَكَرٍ أَوْ أُنثَى بَعْضُكُم مِّن بَعْضٍ فَالَّذِينَ هَاجَرُواْ وَأُخْرِجُواْ مِن دِيَارِهِمْ وَأُوذُواْ فِي سَبِيلِي وَقَاتَلُواْ وَقُتِلُواْ لَأُكَفِّرَنَّ عَنْهُمْ سَيِّئَاتِهِمْ وَلَأُدْخِلَنَّهُمْ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ ثَوَابًا مِّن عِندِ اللّهِ وَاللّهُ عِندَهُ حُسْنُ الثَّوَابِ |

| Elmalılı | Rableri onlara şu karşılığı verdi: "Ben, erkek olsun, kadın olsun, sizden, hiçbir çalışanın amelini zayi etmeyeceğim. Sizler birbirinizdensiniz. Göç edenler, yurtlarından çıkarılanlar, yolumda eziyet edilenler, savaşanlar ve öldürülenler... Onların günahlarını elbette örteceğim ve Allah katından bir mükafat olmak üzere, onları altından ırmaklar akan cennetlere de koyacağım. En güzel mükafat Allah katındadır". |

Ali | And their Lord hath accepted of them, and answered them: "Never will I suffer to be lost the work of any of you, be he male or female: Ye are members, one of another: Those who have left their homes, or been driven out therefrom, or suffered harm in My Cause, or fought or been slain,- verily, I will blot out from them their iniquities, and admit them into Gardens with rivers flowing beneath;- A reward from the presence of Allah, and from His presence is the best of rewards."

[3:196] | lâ yegurranneke teḳallübü-lleẕîne keferû fi-lbilâd. | لا يغرنك تقلب الذين كفروا في البلاد
لاَ يَغُرَّنَّكَ تَقَلُّبُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ فِي الْبِلاَدِ |

مَتَاعٌ قَلِيلٌ ثُمَّ مَأْوَاهُمْ جَهَنَّمُ وَبِئْسَ الْمِهَادُ |

| Y. Ali | Little is it for enjoyment: Their ultimate abode is Hell: what an evil bed (To lie on)!

[3:198] | lâkini-lleẕîne-tteḳav rabbehüm lehüm cennâtün tecrî min taḥtihe-l'enhâru ḫâlidîne fîhâ nüzülem min `indi-llâh. vemâ `inde-llâhi ḫayrul lil'ebrâr. | لكن الذين اتقوا ربهم لهم جنات تجري من تحتها الأنهار خالدين فيها نزلا من عند الله وما عند الله خير للأبرار
لَكِنِ الَّذِينَ اتَّقَوْاْ رَبَّهُمْ لَهُمْ جَنَّاتٌ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا نُزُلاً مِّنْ عِندِ اللّهِ وَمَا عِندَ اللّهِ خَيْرٌ لِّلْأَبْرَارِ |

| Elmalılı | Fakat Rablerinden gereğince korkanlar için altlarından ırmaklar akan cennetler vardır. Onlar orada ebedî olarak kalacaklar, Allah katından ağırlanacaklardır. İyiler için Allah katındakiler daha hayırlıdır. |
| Y. Ali | On the other hand, for those who fear their Lord, are Gardens, with rivers flowing beneath; therein are they to dwell (for ever),- a gift from the presence of Allah; and that which is in the presence of Allah is the best (bliss) for the righteous.

[3:199] | veinne min ehli-lkitâbi lemey yü'minü billâhi vemâ ünzile ileyküm vemâ ünzile ileyhim ḫâşi`îne lillâhi lâ yeşterûne biâyâti-llâhi ŝemenen ḳalîlâ. ülâike lehüm ecruhüm `inde rabbihim. inne-llâhe serî`u-lḥisâb. | وإن من أهل الكتاب لمن يؤمن بالله وما أنزل إليكم وما أنزل إليهم خاشعين لله لا يشترون بآيات الله ثمنا قليلا أولئك لهم أجرهم عند ربهم إن الله سريع الحساب
وَإِنَّ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ لَمَن يُؤْمِنُ بِاللّهِ وَمَا أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكُمْ وَمَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْهِمْ خَاشِعِينَ لِلّهِ لاَ يَشْتَرُونَ بِآيَاتِ اللّهِ ثَمَنًا قَلِيلاً أُوْلَـئِكَ لَهُمْ أَجْرُهُمْ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ إِنَّ اللّهَ سَرِيعُ الْحِسَابِ |

Ali | And there are, certainly, among the People of the Book, those who believe in Allah, in the revelation to you, and in the revelation to them, bowing in humility to Allah: They will not sell the Signs of Allah for a miserable gain! For them is a reward with their Lord, and Allah is swift in account.

[3:200] | yâ eyyühe-lleẕîne âmenu-ṣbirû veṣâbirû verâbiṭû vetteḳu-llâhe le`alleküm tüfliḥûn. | يا أيها الذين آمنوا اصبروا وصابروا ورابطوا واتقوا الله لعلكم تفلحون
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ اصْبِرُواْ وَصَابِرُواْ وَرَابِطُواْ وَاتَّقُواْ اللّهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ |

| Elmalılı | Ey iman edenler! Sabredin, düşmanlarınıza karşı sebat gösterin, nöbet bekleşin, Allah'dan gereğince korkun ki, kurtuluşa eresiniz. |
| Y. Ali | O ye who believe! Persevere in patience and constancy; vie in such perseverance; strengthen each other; and fear Allah; that ye may prosper.
