Preparing a Simple Logo with GIMP

You can prepare simple logo and symbols with GIMP in a few minutes:
1)Open GIMP, use from menu Folder-New option and make a free template. You may setup width and height of your image as you wish size. We use it as website logo, therefore we setup as 640x640.
2)Choose a color and apply it to backscreen of template with "Bucket Fill Tool".
3)Choose a color as must be seems good with backscreen with "Text Tool" and choose the field of your text, start to wright. After it finishes, setup the size of text.

There is an easier way to preparing logo in Gimp with scripts. You can find ready logos at menu:
File-Create-Logos
Choose your logo script, set preferences and press OK.
